Chapter 4~

     Okay I almost fainted.

Great.

Way to spread on the butter Christine, way, to,go.

When I got back into concentration, they were both staring at me like I had something to say. But I didn't, or did I. So many questions I did want to ask but if I did I would feel ten times as stupid than I already felt. so I shrugged. But that felt even more stupid.

My mom always said I needed to speak my mind more, but I think she needs to be a little less bitchy. I could always tell that she never wanted me, that I was a n accident. most of the stories, about other seasons, and warmth actually came from my dad. One question I've always wonder is, how are they still together, my parents. They have nothing in common at all. She never wanted kids, even know she has six, all girls.

Im the oldest out of all of them, and we have another on the way, pregnancy tests say it will be twins, and boys, but the tests ha e said they were boys, but we all turned out to be girls anyway, so I dought the boy idea.

My dad was more of the loving one. Every night before I went to bed when I was little he would give me one story about the other seasons. And every night I would fall asleep  looking into his pale blue eyes, smiling.....

I had dozzed off, staring at the boy who had walked into the room.

Oh God.

Why.

When I came back into today's they were both staring at me. I felt warmth immediately rushing to my cheeks. I almost stumbled. God what is wring with me today, I'm never usually like this. I glance between the boy and the man. The man starts to clear his throught.

"I suppose you would like to know where you are and why, both those questions are valid, but I must not answer them at the moment, we have business to get down to, immediately. There is only one way out, in witch only, I and Mr. Narret here, know, so don't try anything stupid you hear me?"

I nodded my head in agreement

I still look around the room, if there is anyway out it wasn't in this room.

"Now follow me Christine "

How dose he know my name, it's a little creepy in a sense. They both turn and head toward the door Jake had walked out of. In front of us was another long corridor, but all wood, in smelled of pine, I was so used to that smell because it was the only tree that survived, or still had its colors. So it wasn't very pleasant to me. Oh how I wish natiley, my best friend was here right now, she is very brave, and probably would have flirted with Jake by now. But she wasn't here, only in my head.

When we reach the end of the corridor, I speed up my paste and rush past them. In the room at the end was, a room with a table, seated for three, two chairs on one side and, one on the other. I suppose they want me to sit in one. I take the seat that is by itself. Jake and the man take the other two. When Jake sits down his foot brushes against mine, I look up and he is smiling.

" put out your hand, I won't bite" says the man.

I do as he says. he outstretched his and put his hand on mine, he dropped something into it. I retreat it back, and open my Palm. There lie a sapphire increased ring, with my name Carved into it.
