The Heir Of Uzushio: A Naruto Fan Fiction (Revised)

Chapter 7

The teams set out for their journey with different thoughts and what was dominating Naruto's mind was the fact that he was going to see Itsuki again and he would be able to show him his progress on that technique.

"Oi, Naruto who do you think we're escorting" Kiba asked considering the fact that they asked for Naruto to be a part of the escort.

"Honestly, I don't know " Naruto replied sheepishly and they once again walked in silence until Kiba started making jokes and everyone was laughing except Sasuke and Sakura who were sitting in the emo corner.

They had gotten halfway to Uzushio in laughs when Naruto stopped all of a sudden.

Hey kit, I feel foreign chakra. The fox in Naruto's stomach said.
Yes Kurama I feel it too. He looked at the teams and he heard the swishing of Kunais but got  yelling "Everyone duck!!!".

Everyone dove for the ground, the Kunais missing their targets when a group of 15 men wearing facemasks appeared.

The one who seemed to be their leader walked forwards and said "Hand over the prince and we'll let you go".

"We'll never hand him over, we'll protect the Uchiha with every breath" Asuma said charging chakra over his trench knives.

"Yes, they have to protect me and I don't feel like going with you" Sasuke added getting into a stance.

The leader of the attacker stopped in his tracks and said "Oh we're not after the Uchiha, I'm talking about the u...... " he was cut off by kick to his jaw that sent him cascading off the forest floor while his men charged the Konoha nins.

Naruto was about to attack his opponent when he jumped back to avoid a barrage of Kunais aimed at him.

He looked towards the source and became furious when he saw the Uchiha.

"What gives?" he asked fighting the urge to behead the last Uchiha.

"Stay out of this Dobe, this is a fight of elites" he said activating his sharingan.

"Now watch m...... " the arrogant ass was cut off by a knee to his stomach that sent him rolling on the floor in pain.

Naruto watched as his opponent delivered a knee kick to Sasuke's stomach and he couldn't help but rejoice mentally.

"If he's an elite then you should just give up and come with me, you're hopeless" the guy said moving away from the Uchiha.

"Hnmn I was right, you guys are here for me. Well sorry but no can do, I ain't giving up without a fight" The whiskered blonde said unsheathing his weapon.

He threw his sword at the guy who dodged it with a smirk which was returned with a smirk on the younger boy's face.

Naruto wrapped his hand around the tiny string that was attached to his sword and he drew the sword back stabbing the man in the back making the man drop to the floor dead.

Naruto took out the sword from the man's back and charge at the rest killing them.

The body of the attacking nins crumpled to the floor except their leader who was already scared out of his wits.
Kakashi approached the man in hopes of getting information out of him when a sword protruded out of his shoulder making the man scream in pain.

Naruto removed his sword and faced the man and grabbed him by the collar.

"That is just the beginning of pain if you fail to answer my questions, who sent you? I'm only gonna ask once" the boy said placing the sword on the man's thigh.

"You're bluffing, you're just a brat you don't have the guts to torture me" the man said not believing his own lie and in a split second the boy's blade was lodged in his thigh causing the man to scream in agony.

"He's nuts, this kid is nuts" the man said addressing Kakashi and once again the sound of the blade piercing through the man's blade could be heard again as the man lost his second leg.

"Answer me " Naruto said again to the man placing the sword on the man's crotch.

"Naruto! That's enough" Kakashi said trying to get the boy to stop but Naruto didn't seem like he heard the silver haired jounin.

"Alright alright I'll talk, it was Katsuro, he told us to wait here for you" the man said as the boy put a bit of pressure on the blade.

"OK thanks" the boy said dispelling the Genjutsu he placed on everyone.

"What? how is that possible, Naruto? Nobody detected it not even Hinata, Sasuke and Kurenai". Asuma asked baffled.

"Let's just say that my chakra reserves are too big for normal A rank Genjutsu" Naruto said sheathing his sword, then he turned to face the man who led the attack "Come with us to Uzushiogakure and I will make sure you are fairly tried in return for your testimony against Katsuro" Naruto said emotionlessly.

The man scrambled to his feet and he bowed down to the whiskered blonde saying "Arigatou, Uzumaki sama".

Uzumaki sama?  Is Naruto some kinda royalty? Troublesome was the thought going through a certain brunette's head.
