Drawings covered Roslyn's journal, black ballpoint pen smudged on her right hand. Most commonly portraits.

She lay in the sun on her front, grass poking through her brown knitted cardigan. She smiles to herself, the warmth of the suns kisses on her cheek filled her soul with love.

Bug sat next to her; legs crossed leaning back on his elbows, eyes shut with a coy little smile tugging at his lips. His brown hair tousled flopping on his forehead.

"I see you watching me." He grins flashing Roslyn his white teeth. She releases a breathy laugh and rolls onto her back clutching her bee-covered journal close to her chest so he can't see.

"Let me see what you're drawing."

"Never."

He lifts his head to stare at her, her arm thrown over her eyes to block the sun, biting her lower lip, but he could still see the smile she tried to hide.

Bug throws himself onto the grass next to her, she turns on her side to face him, and he rests his head on his hand, elbow digging in the grass.

He pries the journal from her and she somewhat willingly gives in to him, watching him as he flicks to the page she last drew in. A drawing of him, in black ballpoint pen, orange ballpoint shadings on half his face to show the sun was shining on his face. She made sure to capture the small smile on his face, how rare it was to see. She never wanted to see that smile fade.

"You're such a creep." He chuckled and handed her book back. She rolled her eyes at him, lying in her back with slight annoyance. She knew he was awkward; he didn't know how to compliment her when it came to art to do with him.

Roslyn felt Bug move her brown curls behind her ear, pressing his warm sunkissed lips against her temple and shuffling closer to her, his arm between him and the grass was now curled around her shoulders and him, whispering how beautiful the drawing was. She melted into his body with such ease, as nothing else existed at that moment but Bug, the sun, and the grass beneath them.
