In ancient Greek religion and mythology, the twelve Olympians are the major deities of the Greek pantheon, commonly considered to be Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, and Hestia
Zeus is the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion, who rules as king of the gods of Mount Olympus.Hera is the Queen of the Gods and is the wife and sister of Zeus in the Olympian pantheon. She is known for being the Goddess of Marriage & Birth.
Poseidon is god of the sea, earthquakes, storms, and horses and is considered one of the most bad-tempered, moody and greedy Olympian gods.
Demeter is the goddess of the harvest and presides over grains and the fertility of the earth. Although she was most often referred to as the goddess of the harvest, she was also goddess of sacred law and the cycle of life and death.
Athena is the Olympian goddess of wisdom and war and the adored patroness of the city of Athens. She is also the goddess of courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, the arts, crafts, and skill.
Apollo is the Olympian god of prophecy and oracles, music, song and poetry, archery, healing, plague and disease, and the protection of the young.
Artemis is the Olympian goddess of hunting, the wilderness and wild animals. She is also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage
Ares is the Olympian god of war, battlelust, courage and civil order.
Hephaestus is the Greek god of fire, metalworking, blacksmithing, forging, and masonry.
Aphrodite is the Olympian goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation.
Hermes is the Olympian god of herds and flocks, travellers and hospitality, roads and trade, thievery and cunning, heralds and diplomacy, language and writing, athletic contests and gymnasiums, astronomy and astrology.
Hestia is the Greek goddess of home, hearth, and family.
