Rose directly look at the wall clock on her room when she open her eye. It's already 10:00 am and no one wake her up.
She gently grab her robe and go to her shower room to take a bath then she dress up in her closet which is connected to her bathroom . After her morning ritual she gently go downstairs to eat she's freaking hungry and to her surprise they are many food prepared on there huge table.
"Manang is something special happened?" Tanong nya sa katulong " Bakit andaming nakahanda? " Takha niyang tanong at natakam sa nakahanda. This are all my favorite ! Hindi ko naman birthday ah !
May Afritada , menudo , crispy pata, beef steak , grilled turkey , Sarsiadong Bangus , pork and ribs , fried chicken , Shanghai , leche flan , Graham cake and fresh ripped fruits.
"Baby your already awake ! Sakto luto na ang mga pinaluto ko ! I know you like Filipino cuisines more than foods here in US. Have a seat let's eat " nakangiting aya ng ama dito at pinaghila sya ng upuan ng ama. Nagtataka siyang umupo . "Manang chocolate coffee nga for Rose" utos nito sa katulong.
Sya nama'y sumandok ng kanin at Afritada , sarap na sarap sya sa pagkain ng maalala niya ang tanong kanina " Dad ano palang meron bat andaming pagkain? " Tanong nya sabay subo pa ng kanin at ulam . Napagtripan ata ng tatay niyang maglustay ng pera .
"Kasi pumayag ka sa proposal ko kagabi baby naalala mo? " Nakangiti nitong saad habang naghihiwa ng steak . Dahit lang dun kailangan na maghanda ng ganito ? Oh well mabuti na rin ito . Dumating si manang at nilapag ang kape nya.
"Oh that ... What's the big deal in it? " Tanong nya sabay simsim ng kape (A/N : Dalawang sim . Lol ) " What kind of proposal is it anyway Dad? " Tanong nya . Wala naman kasi akong nakita ni nabasa ang nilalaman nito .
"Marriage contract—" naiduwal na ang iniinom na kina tawa ng ama . Sayo ko kaya dad isuka ! Para makakatawa din ako ! Usto mo Yun?
" M-ma-marriage wh-what?!" Gulat na gulat niyang tanong na ikinatawa ng ama. She may be mistaken. Nabingi lang ba ako? Myghad dad is joking ! Lagi na Lang itong pabiro kung sumagot . Dad Waley ! Hindi nakakatawa di ka valid maging entertainer .
"Marriage contract baby you'll be marrying soon " nakangiti nitong sagot na kina gulat niyang talaga. She's not mistaken . Patay na ! Kasal na nga ang punta wala ng kawala !
"SON WAKE UP it's already 11:00 in the morning join your mother for lunch" his mother's voice wake him up while opening his curtains to let the bright sun enter his room.
"Mom it's Saturday I don't have work can I sleep again? Im still drowsily " he said while covering his face with blanket to avoid the light from outside.
"Don't you want to join your mother and sister in lunch?" Tanong nito ng makalapit sa kanya.
"I want mom but .... but I still —"
"Get up now if you don't want your mother to be mad at you " Saad nito at aakmang lalabas sa pinto.
"I'll go downstairs after having a bath mom " Saad nito at dumiretso na sa banyo.
"That's my boy hurry up I cook for lunch" Pahabol nito sa kanya . He really can't say no to his mother .
He took a quick bath to wake him up and after that he go downstairs to have lunch. "Hi kuya kain ka na" aya sa kanya ng nakababatang kapatid. Sinagot Lang ito ng ngiti at hinalikan sa noo at sinunod ang ina while greeting them good morning .
"Where's Henz anyway? " Tanong nya ng mapansing wala ang bunsong kapatid sa hapag. Aba nasan kaya ang makulit na iyo?
"He's still in there school educational tour kuya" sagot ng kapatid. Habang inaabot sa kanya ang kanin.
