Taylor's pov
When it comes to me getting ready early in the morning you either A) Be late, or B) Be ugly. For some reason this morning I'm both. Most people would pack their bags for a trip like this a week in advance, it is now 3:40 a.m the day I am leaving and now I am packing. I'll take me about 10 minutes to pack, a half hour to the airport, 10 minutes of my mom crying on my shoulder and telling me how much she will miss me and then a 4 and a half hour flight. Since I have had heart problems since I was born (which required a few surgeries and about 40 bottles of medication) I get to board the plane first, which I almost missed because of how late I was running. My whole time schedule moved about twice as fast to get there and on the plane (almost) on time. Once my two friends, Julia and Caroline, and I boarded the plane I was relieved to be able to lie back and enjoy looking out the window and watching the clouds float under us eager to get to L.A, I fall asleep dreaming about what it'll be like there and what we will do with apartment until I'm waken up by Julia shaking me like a rag doll practically yelling at me "get up already! We are here!" which I found funny since I'm usually the one shaking her awake. We grab our carry-ons and eagerly run off the plane and have a limo take us to the apartment we rented for the summer. My jaw drops as the limo pulls up "woah" I manage to say
"It's huge!" Julia says
"Caroline, this could fit like twenty people!" I add
"I wanted us to arrive in style, Go big or go home, Right?" "Plus the big one was at a discount""So are you guys gonna stand there and look at it or are we gonna go to our apartment?" she says a few seconds later, ready to get there. We get in and have a toast, "to us, and this amazing summer!" We all say laughing drinking the champagne, something as important as this deserves to be toasted to.
After a half hour we get to the apartment, We walk up to the door bags in hand ready to turn the key and open the door to what the summer holds. "Are you ready?" Julia says. "Yes!" I almost scream, "I can't take this anymore I have to see it" She turns the key and open the door to reveal our no bedroom studio apartment, which was surprisingly nice. The kitchen area was small but it was filled with stainless steel appliances and a beautiful white countertop. Next to it was a little table for eating next to a huge space for where our pull outs will go and a little hallway that leads to our bathroom and hall closet. I knew this was happening and I have been looking forward to it for months but seeing it all happen right in front of me, now it feels real, it is actually happening, I do get my last summer. This is the summer I won't forget.
