A young faun was running through the forest, away from the world, away from the wolf's, away from her! But as he was running, he tripped over a tree root. The wolf's we're gaining on him. As he lay there, hopelessness swallowed him and he gave up, when suddenly a bright light surrounded him! Thinking it was death he cowered and shouted,
"I am your humble servant, take me away from this treacherous world!" But then, a figure appeared.

"Young faun," said a sweet voice, "why are you giving up? You have a long path ahead of you,"

"What do you mean?" But the figure said nothing, instead the light disappeared and there stood a beautiful warrior. As she stood there, sword raised, the wolf's came charging at her. As she fought them off, the faun sat there, entranced by her beauty and grace. Once the wolf's where gone, she turned around,

"Young one, what is your name?"

"T-Tumnus," he answered meekly.

"Well then, Tumnus," her angelic voice whispered, "our paths must part here." She started walking away,

"W-will I ever see you again?!" She turned and looked into the fauns young eyes with her piercing sapphire blue ones,

"Only time will tell."
