Chapter 1

*(Y/n) At Age 5*
"Look (Y/n). This will one day be your husband, Liam." My mother told me. I didn't really understand what she was telling me at that moment since I was small.
*(Y/n) At Age 10*
"Hunny, we have to hurry up so we could go and meet up with the Payne's."
"Yeah mom, I'll be right there."
We were meeting up with some family friends who I haven't heard of in a very long time. When we arrive at their house, we went into their backyard, which was huge, and the grown ups just started talking.
"Mom. Do they have any kids? I'm bored."
"Oh yes hunny. Rose, is Liam here? (Y/n) is getting bored of all the grown up talk and I think it'll be good for them to get to know each other."
"Oh yes! Let's go. He's upstairs in his room."
We headed upstairs and I was excited because I would make a new friend. Well maybe not completely knew but for me he was.
"Liam." Rose, his mom, knocked on his door.
"Come in mom."
"This is (Y/n). She wanted to play with you."
"Oh. Okay."
"Be nice okay Liam. She's going to be your wife one day."
Our moms left us in the room and me and Liam just sat on the floor, not saying anything.
"What did they mean we're gunna be married one day?" I asked Liam.
"My parents and your parents have agreed to have us get married when we're old enough."
"But why?"
"Because that's the way the world works. Our parents choose the person we're going to be with."
"Oh."
"Yeah but I have a girlfriend already."
"You do?"
"Yeah."
"And what about me?"
"Well you can have boyfriends too. Just don't take them so seriously because you're mine."
"And what if I do?"
"You'll never be with your family again and you'll have a horrible life, and you're not going to bring me down with you got that?! You can only love me!"
Wow. I was sure gunna have a tough life if I had to spend the rest of my life with him.
