Chapter 1

River pov :)

I smiled as my friends came towards me in the school hallways, I was friends with a lot of people at school, everyone accepts me at school for being gay. all the girls smother me and the guys are alright.

And then there's my group. Layla, the fan girl. she is addicted to boyxboy and girlxgirl she's even gotten a blood nose cause she saw her sister with her girlfriend.

Then there's Kayla. Layla's twin, she's a lesbian and a vegetarian, she likes to sign petitions for lots of rights.

Then there's Jordan, he's a jock, but you can always see him reading something. And you can tell he likes Layla.

Last is May, he's a total punk, he likes music, skateboarding, and dressing all colourful.

"Hello" I say

"Sup bro" may slings his arm around my shoulders

"River! Have you got a boyfriend?! We haven't seen each other all holidays!!!" Layla shouts.

I shake my head laughing slightly. "just went on a holiday with dad" I had put my hands behind my back and crossed my fingers. I hate lying but I can't tell them the truth. I know may saw my hands but he didn't speak up.

"Long time no see man" Jordan came up next to me slapping my back, making me stumble forwards. Kayla caught me.

"Jordan, if you do that to him once more! I'm going to kick your ass into tomorrow!" She playfully growled at him.

"You alright" gabby, Kayla's girlfriend asked.

"Yeah" I giggled and stood properly. the bell rung and we said our goodbyes. me and Layla had the same class and went the same way.

"We going to the start party?" She asked me

"No thank you lay, I'm just gonna go home" I said.

"Nonsense! We are going and you have no choice!" and that was the end of our convo.

3 broken noses, and a crying kid later, I finally make it to my locker, just as Jessie and jack came, they are my two friends and my only friends. they are exactly alike, except the fact Jessie is gay. they also have two younger twin sisters. "dude!" I smiled at them "it's been forever!" Jack exclaimed

"Hey..." jessie blushed, he's confessed to me but I'm not gay, but we're still friends.

"Sup, jack, you were over yesterday" I laughed.

"We're going to the start party tonight right? Well I hafta, I'm taking Layla, Kayla and there friend" jack said "party! Party! Party! Party!"

I laughed "of course man" the bell rung "gotta give me a lift, and wait for me outside after school"

They nodded and we went our separate ways.
