Chapter 2: Someone's someone

At last the day had come. The day you have been waiting for a whole year. Today your brother will get back from the hospital. You're waiting in the hospital lobby with your parents. After sometime your brother comes. His cute smile on his face,curled hair and colourful clothes made you think again how cute he was. He was holding a big suitcase. He came and hugged you tightly. You hugged him back. The hospital didn't allow visitors. So for a whole year you didn't see this cute brother of you.

Jinwoo:Long time no see,Noona! How have you been?
You: I'm fine,Jinwoo.
Jinwoo: You have become more cuter you know.

He broke the hug and pinched your cheeks.

You:Ouch!
Jinwoo:Aww you're such a cutie pie. Like a puppy.
You:Yah! I'm not a puppy!

He chuckles.

Jinwoo:Cute!

Then,your mom speaks.

Mom:Jinwoo,do you know your Noona moved out and did 4 part time jobs and a tution to give us a amount every month and make her ends meet?
Jinwoo:What!?

"No mom,not now please!" you thought. He knew you paid for him but he didn't knew you moved out and worked this amount of jobs

Jinwoo:Noona...
You:Can we talk about this later?
Jinwoo:But-
You:Please.

You don't make puppy eyes. But it turns into them. "Why are you always like this? Caring about only the people you love and not about yourself?" Your brother thinks.

Jinwoo:Fine then.
You:I got you something.

His eyes light up.

You: Surprise!
Jinwoo:What is it?

He takes the paper from you.

Jinwoo:"Ms. Lee Y/n's reservation for Korean BBQ of 2 people on 16 May 2019 at 8 pm K.S.T has been confirmed.

Jinwoo:Omo!Noona where did you get this!? it's my favourite place!
You:I know. One of your friends told me. It's a treat for you from me on the occasion of you coming back home.
Jinwoo:Thank you!
Dad: It's time to go home,dear.
You:Lets go now.

That day you stayed at your own home and not in your room beside your college. 4 of you chatted for a long time and watched movies. Lastly you and your brother went to sleep in your old room where you two shared a bunk bed. Jinwoo on top and you at the bottom.

Jinwoo:Noona..
You:Hmm...
Jinwoo:You know when i got eliminated from Produce 101,i got so sad that i cried. But when i discovered that i was this much ill,i thought that being eliminated was good actually. As I was eliminated, i got to know about this and now i can live way more longer than i was supposed to if i got into Produce 101's group.

You:Hmm..

Jinwoo got surprised by your hmms and hung down from his bed to see you sleeping by hugging your teddy bear.

Jinwoo: You're so good,soft and naive. I really want you to be happy and find someone who can take care of you nicely. Cause i know you'll take care of your special someone.

He then laid in his bed and closed his eyes trying to sleep. He needs to join again from tomorrow.

At BTS Dorm 9:30 pm. 3 hours before you fell asleep.

Jin is heating up the food and Jungkook is chopping vegetables for salad. He gets a little distracted by a song he was writing and accidentally cuts his hand.

Jk:Ouch!
Jin:OMG!! I told you to be careful from the beginning! See what you did!
Jk: Hyung, I'm ok. It's just a small cut.
Jin:Yah! How is this ok!? Can't you see the blood!? Are you blind or what!? Taehyung ah! Bring the first aid.

Jungkook had cut his middle finger and it was bleeding a lot. Taehyung bought the first aid and gave it to Jin.

Jin:Aish! What am i going to do with these kids? They never take care of themselves! I have to do everything always. All you 6 do is being 6 year olds. Here,i have bandaged it. Now go and get some rest. Tae,call Hobi to help me.
Tae:K. Kookie,lets play overwatch now!
Jin:No way! You two will have dinner first and Jungkook needs rest. If he plays games,the finger will be way more worse than it is.

Taehyung gets upset. Two of them go to Jimin's room. Jungkook jumps on the bed and so does Taehyung. Jimin was sitting on the rattan swing in his room reading a book .

Tae:What book is it?
Jimin: Ordinary book.
Tae:Really?

Tae went to him and snatched the book. He read the title

Tae:"Soulmate". Huh? What's this?
Jimin:Tae! Give it back!
Jk:Hyung, don't make him angry. You know what will happen.
Tae: I'll give it back anyways. But why this book? I mean there are so many books out there to read.
Jimin:I bought it from the library here.
Tae:Why?
Jimin: Because i wanted to read it? Duh!
Jk:Aish! You two stop fighting.
Jimin: What happened to your finger?
Jk:I was chopping vegetables when accidentally it got cut.
Tae:It bled a lot! I bought the first aid kit and Jin hyung bandaged it.
Jk:It was a really small cut. He is just making the shrimp a blue whale.
Jimin:Haha...
Jk:Guys,have you ever thought that Jin hyung always takes care of us but there is no one to take care of him.
Jimin:If he had someone who was his soulmate or girlfriend there would be at least one soul who took care of him.
Tae:Yoongi hyung and Hobi hyung already found their soulmates. But Jin hyung still didn't find his one. It's really sad.
Jk:Can we do something?
Jimin:Nothing. "Soulmate is a person who someone can't find for you. You have to find your soulmate. Soulmates can be found through pain,joy,sorrow and every single emotion on earth. You feel what your soulmate feels from the time you were able to see him/her for the 1st time".
Tae:Wow! Did you memorise these?
Jimin:Nope. It is written in the book. These lines just caught my attention.
Jk:Why are you suddenly interested in this book.

He blushed.

Jimin:Promise that you won't tell anyone.
Jk n Tae:Promise!
Jimin:3 days ago,when i went to the grocery store,i saw a beautiful girl in front me. When i saw her,my heart stopped. It felt like i was hearing her heartbeat which was really loud. She turned to me. We stared at each other for like eternity until this brat Taehyung showed up. The girl turned another way and said "I'm a ARMY. Can i get autograph?" I smiled and gave a autograph in her notebook. So did Tae. When i gave it back to her, our hands touched. And i felt chills going through my spine. And i talked to Yoongi hyung about finding soulmates and with Hobi hyung too. Both said they felt like this. I didn't tell that i most probably found my soulmate but i knew how to find mine. Then,when i went to the library to read books,thus book caught my attention. So i bought it. The book is written by a soulmate couple.
Tae:Now we know why you are suddenly interested in this weird book. Good luck,bro.
Jin: Dinner's ready,boys!
Tae n jk:Coming!

They stormed out of the room. Jimin laughed and followed them.
