Snow Flower (Yuki no Hana)

The Misaki Stairs

"She's gone!"

Hanako looks at Yashiro ,
probably interested.
"She's vanished?"
Hanako questioned again.
"Hmmmmmmm."

Yashiro started to get impatient,
"Don't 'hmmmmm' me!
Come on Hanako-kun!
You must know something.
Because everything is weird..."
Yashiro stated in disappointment as she looked down.
"Her flowers, her desk...Everything owned by Aoi is gone and forgotten."

"HANAKOOOOOO-KUN!!!"

A loud voice can be heard from the corridor.
And suddenly, Kou appeared at the frame of the toilet's entrance door with his face kinda full of rage.
Yashiro shocked by his sudden appearance , even worse..
"Minamoto-kun..This is girls' toilet!"
Yashiro claimed.

The blondie seem unbothered as he just walked pass by the girl towards the supernatural.
He grabbed Hanako's uniform collar tightly,
"You jerk! What did you do to my classmates Yokoo and Satou?!
Why doesn't everybody remember them?!"
The black haired boy wasn't given a chance to answer due to being shaken by  Minamoto.

Before Yashiro could say something,
a familiar light purple headed girl appeared.
"Nene-chan? Here you are!
I was searching for you when you suddenly ran out of the class."

Kou and Hanako turned as they heard the other supernatural's voice.
Kizuna was looking at the two boys within in disbelief.
"It's not time for you guys to continue your fight."
She sighed as she walked towards Yashiro.

"Kizuna-chann..."
Yashiro engulfed the said girl in her tight embrace.
She's already in the verge of crying as
she thought of her bestfriend dissappearance.
"I wanted to talk about Aoi-chan disappearance with you ,
because me and Hanako might have some  ideas where she has gone to."
Ayase said as she glanced at Hanako,
accepting a few nods from him.

"How did you remember her?!"
Yashiro's question make Ayase facepalmed.
"Yashiroooo, I'm a supernatural too, remember???"
The cute Daikon girl smiled innocently,
"Right, I forgot, hehe."

Kizuna could see by the corner of her eyes that a certain person is flustered by Yashiro's cute action.
'let me keep it secret for this time being.'
She chuckled to herself.
Hanako approaches the two girls,
"To let you know,
In this school, there's seven...
Might be eight.."
He glanced at Kizuna which is having her candy-like smile plastered on her face.
"..locations that connect to the netherworld.
The stairs is one of them.
The student might be taken to the netherworld." He explained.

"Netherworld ?"

"Or even called boundary.
When a normal human crosses it, their whole existence will be wiped out.
Which I assume is happening to some of the students right now."
Ayase explained further.

As they thought about it,
Yashiro suddenly tugged on Hanako's uniform.
"Can the people who go there ..
come back?"
The three of them could see the tears threatening to fall from Yashiro's eyes.
"We can-"
Before Kizuna could assure Yashiro about her bestfriend's safety, she was taken back by the certain supernatural's action.

Hanako suddenly squeezed Yashiro's
face and saying those sweet words to make Yashiro calm down,
acting all sweet.
She froze there.
She couldn't stop Hanako but this blondie purposedly barged in between them and pull Yashiro out of the ghost boy's grasp.

"DON'T TOUCH YOU'RE PERV GHOST."
Kou exclaimed to Hanako.
Hanako chuckled a bit as he observes the situation.
"You're going to take her to the boundary right?"
Kou asked the latter.
He nodded, "Well, of course.".

The ghostie floats himself as his attention still at the blondie younger.
His attention suddenly turned to his supernatural-mate.
He grinned slightly, "Are you nervous?"
His question caught Kizuna's attention,
"Nahhh.., just thinking hard."
She claimed calmly.
Hanako suddenly feels the urge to pat the lavender haired girl but, to his shock.
The said girl dodged it,

"No thanks, Perverted Hanako."

Hanako was in an extreme shock due to her words that he completely froze there with his jaws dropped.
'S-she called me a p-pervert. . .'

"Nene-chan,Let's go and save Aoi-chan!"
Kizuna said before getting out of the No.7's boundary.
"U-Umm!"
Yashiro replied , draghing Kou along with her.
"Hurry up Hanako-kun!"

"W-what is this?"
The four of them looked up on the fleet of stairs to see a huge pile of blood
spread on it.
The purple haired girl move a step on it gaining dramatic shock from the two humans.
"Senpai!"
"K-kizuna-chan?!"

"Geez, no need to be so worried~"
She assured them with her infamous smile.
Hanako floats towards the stair,
"Okay, are you ready?
It's the fourth step right?"
He glances towards Yashiro earning a trembling nod.

"Then, OOOONE."
The daikon girl started to get more nervous but nonetheless,
She followed the supernatural's order.
The other two also did the same.
"TWO,THREE-"
'IM GOING TO BE A MEATBALL'
Yashiro thought.
"And..FOUR."

SPLASH.

The eyes that once closed shut opened slowly.
The two humans gasped in awe.
There's a lot of stairs in different
designs,
the whole place are gorgeous with those lightings from the lanterns,
the Misaki Stairs is a very beautiful place!
"What is this place?"
Ayase approaches Yashiro,
"The Misaki Stairs."
She grinned and turned to enjoy the scenery,
"No.2 really has a great sense of designing huh?"
She chuckled slightly as she touches a lantern.

Hanako smirked,
"Looks like she's really been going to the town."
