Back together as a family

Chapter 1

As Dumbledore and snape talked in his office about what needed to be done to help protect the wizarding world, the minister ran in and skidded to a stop in front of the desk of the headmaster.
" sir there's been a murder!"
"Who was murdered?"
"Lily and James Potter along with their one year old son Harry potter."
"Does that mean the baby girl has survived the attack?"
"Yes sir."
As soon as the minister finished talking, you can see snape running to the fireplace and being engulfed in green flames as he heads to the Potters residence.

When snape entered he saw the lifeless body of James potter. Going in to the first nursery fit for a boy. He then stared down at the only person he had ever loved laying there cold and lifeless. Walking to the crib stepping over lily's body, he saw the poor lifeless body of Harry Potter. Before he could mourn of his last of the only girl he ever loved, he heard the soft cry of a baby girl.

Walking down the hall to the nursery, he peered in the room and there lay the most beautiful baby girl he has ever seen.

He carefully walked over to the bassinet and picked the bundled up little girl. He stared at the green eyed and black hair little girl.

Most people will not suspect that THE Severus Snape had a child, let alone a little girl.

At a birthday party for lily, they both got drunk and had an eventful night in bed together.  The end result in lily having a little girl, but she told James that she was his.

But now it is his job to stand up and be the dad that she needs. As he rocked her to sleep he apparated to the front gates of Hogwarts.

He swiftly walked to the gargoyle that hides the entrance to Dumbledore's office.

As he said the password ' lemon drops' the gargoyle moved out of the way and revealed a golden staircase.

Walking up the staircase, he bursted into the office to find Dumbledore working on some kind of paperwork.

"Ah severus your back. What's the damage at the potters house?"
"The house is destroyed and the other 3 potters are dead. The only alive is Aria lily Potter. But now that they are dead I shall take the roll of her father. As she is my flesh and blood. Now her new name is now Aria Lily Snape."
"As you wish Severus."
"I will be down in my quarters of you need me."

Snape walked briskly out and through the corridors down to the dungeons where his living quarters are located.

As he walked into the living room Aria started to wake up. She looked at this strange man that is holding her.

When Snape looked down at the Aria, he saw the brightest green eyes that belonged to the only one he ever loved. Those eyes belong to Lily Potter.

Snape walked over to the second bedroom and opened the door. He took out his wand and waved it. Out came a light blue and pink bassinet. The walls turned white with multicolored flowers and a rainbow on one wall with moving unicorns prancing all over the walls.

He pointed his wand at the floor and out came a fluffy white rug.

Toward the wall closer to the wall, he pointed his wand and out popped a chest full of stuff animals and baby toys for her age.

Then he pointed it at the wardrobe and it transformed into a white one instead of just plain brown. Inside is filled with all kinds of cute baby clothes.

Once he looked around the room and decided it was perfect, he went over to the crib and gently place aria in it.

He gave her a kiss on the head. Before leaving he placed one of those muggle baby moniter that works through the magic world.

As he turned the nightlight on, he kept thinking about what just happened today. In just a hour he has become a father and he lost the only one he loves.

He walked out of the room turning off the big light, he left the door open just a crack just incase.

He walked to his potion lab and slid down into his chair. He put his head on his hands and finally let a few tears slide down his face.

A few minutes later there was quiet knock on his door. He stood up and whipped the few loose tears he let out, then straightened his black robes. He walked to the door and open it trying to be a little quiet.

"Hello Severus."
"Hello Minister. How may I help you at such a late hour."
"I was just informed by Albus that you took Custody of Aria Lily Potter. Is this correct?"
"It is correct. Aria is also my daughter not james daughter."
"To be sure if this is true or not, I'll need a blood same from you and the girl."
"Can it wait till tomorrow, I just put her to sleep."
"I'm sorry Severus, but this needs to be done so I can make sure you just didnt kidnapped her. I know that you have been trying to adopt for ages now, I do not want to make mistake tonight."
"If you must do it tonight. Please come in."

The minister walked into the living room looking at the decorations.

"This way minister."

Severus guide the minister to the nursery where Aria lays still asleep. Snape gently picks her up and cradles him in his arms. The minister took a special tool to get blood by magic.  As soon as it pierced Aria's skin she busted out crying.

Severus started to rock her back to sleep as the minister took his blood. He didnt even flinched as it pierced his skin. He is just so used to it from his horrible childhood.

The minister left the room to go put a special made potion to see if Severus is the real father of aria.

Finally Severus got Aria to go back to sleep. He gently placed her back in her crib and quietly left the room. Shutting the door lightly.

He headed towards his lab where the minister is.

"The result is...you are the father of Aria Lily Potter. You may change her name when you signed these papers."

The minister pulled at a piece of parchment and laid it in front of Severus. Severus grabbed the quill that the minister handed him. He quickly wrote down Aria's new last name and then signed it at the bottom. The minster took it and signed it to, so it can be finally offical.

"Well it is official Severus, Aria Lily Potter is now Aria Lily Snape."
"Thank you minister. I'm sure you can find yourself out. I have homework that needs to be graded."
"Oh my yes. I will see you some other time Severus."
"Goodbye Minister."

Severus watched the minister leave the room. As soon he heard the door shut he sunk back down into his chair.

After a few minutes he looked up at the clock. He saw that it was half past midnight. Knowing the time, he got up and headed to his room with the baby monitor in his hand.

He went to his wardrobe and got out his silk pjs, he slid them on and then got into bed. As he place the monitor on his nightstand, he laid back. The thing was that he just couldn't sleep knowing that the love of his life is dead and that he his a father.

Finally around half past 2 he fell into a troubled sleep.
