"are you crazy somin? you meet him online for god sake! isn't it too early to be 'i like him'?" somin's friend mock and scolded her.

"yes but, he's nice. he offered to help me with my homework and he seems to actually care for me, after the whole toxic three months relationship i was in before, i just want to feel love anra". somin explained.

it was true, somin was in an on and off relationship for three months just weeks before all this happened. during that time, somin wasn't feeling mentally well and would end up not leaving her bed for a week.

"yes i remember that somin, but give yourself and especially, your heart a break. you just left something so toxic, just let your mental health rest for a bit and then we'll see where it'll go. i'm not telling you to ghost and ignore him, but don't just overthink things when talking to him." anra sighed.

"yeah, you're right. i promise to not overthink or get too attached. who knows, he might break my heart too." somin laughed.

oh how she would live to realised she predicted her future.

"alright, i'll see you tomorrow."

"wait what? anra, you promise to go to the shops and buy bubble tea with me today!" somin whined.

"we have a test coming up next week, i don't wanna listen to your so called love life. i'm gonna go home and study, i'll treat you to a meal after the test next week, that is a promise i'll keep." anra waves as she walks towards the back gate and somin sighed, heading towards the front gate.

"fine, be mean then. i'll just go home and talk to taehyung."

when somin came home, she decided to eat ramen for diner and went to her room, opening her phone. she forgot about texting taehyung when she was scrolling through instagram. going through her feed and then her instagram explore page.

at around six 0'clock, three hours after school ended, she got a notification from taehyung on snapchat. opening the app, she received a "hey, how was your day?".

"hey, it was alright, was suppose to buy gongcha with my friend but she bailed on me. how's your day?"

"she bailed on you? i would've went with you if i went to your school. i had a biology test today, it was alright, but other than that. nothing amazing happened so my day was alright."

"you would? aw that's cute. and wow, i knew you were smart smart".

"haha, i'm not smart. i'm decent compare to my class".

"well, compare to me, you're like the smartest person alive haha. i'm pretty dumb for my age."

"don't say that somin. we're smart in our own way, am i right?"

"yeah, you're right."

somin and taehyung continued to talk for hours, till taehyung decided to head to bed at around 10:30 pm.

"goodnight, i'll talk to you tomorrow."

"alright, goodnight taehyung." and with that, she went to bed.
