Chapter 10

Charli POV:

So, quick recap! My brother hates me, I am never coming back to Hogwarts after this year, my boyfriend is actually my half-twin, and I'm a freakin Trybrid!!! Ok, we are done now, wait!! Also my mum was Ava Delacour, Marie Delacour's sister, which I now realize means that I have veela blood.... hmm...... Wow, this is weird!!

Hermione never hangs with me anymore because of Harry forbidding her to. Apparently nobody can talk to me now, except for my Slytherin friends who always seem so sad and somber, honestly, you'd think they didnt want to be my friends.... And everytime Draco comes around, they look sadder and Harry gives me notes like this:

Roses are red, violets are blue,
You love Draco, and I hate you!

                             One who doesnt lie!

Honestly, Draco's weird! He looks sad when I come around but is mean to my brother. He stops being rude as soon as he realizes that I'm watching, and he ignores me if i make any side comments about him. ITS ANNOYING!
He acts like hes so cool, but as soon as I walk in the room, he shuts up.

Apparently dear old Mione sucker punched him in third year, thankfully. Now, when I'm close by, he stops being rude to Harry, but Harry's such a jerk now, that I just wish I could see the show ONCE!!!!!

Snape treats me like a queen, I can do no wrong, Flitwick acts like I'm his prodigy or something, Binns loves me(which is weird cause I always sleep in his class), Sprouts gave me a dollar tree(awesome huh? It's for summertime in America), Quirrell never gives me anything but O's, and Mcgonagall treats me like family!!

Im practically a star student!! Loved by most, hated by barely anyone, and everyones my friend!! Except Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle ofc, oh and according to Pansy, something happened between Blaise and I, but this Blaise kid decided to stay in Italy for this term.

Oh and I'm going to the ball with Cedric Diggory tonight... Small detail, no biggie....

Time Skip:
(That night)

I got dressed into a beautiful dress that looked like an actual rose got turned into a dress. I charmed the skirt of it to dance and flow by itself so it would look like rose petals in the wind. I put on some beautiful golden heels that had such intricate designs that they looked like they were made of golden flowers.

My hair was done amazingly by Scarlet, she was one of the few people in Griffindor who hadn't turned her back on me. I had natural highlights already in my hair, so she put some red highlight in too and did it up in a way that I cannot describe and still do it justice.

There were tiny gold roses weaved into my hair and I was wearing a gold necklace with a lion and a snake on it inside a heart, Viktor got it for me when he heard that I was a Slytherdor and the very first.

I put some dark red lipstick on and some dark eyeshadow with jewels.

Scarlet and Brady, who were helping me get ready, stepped back.

"Whoa....", Brady said.

"Ya dang right 'whoa'!!", Scarlet replied.

"Do I look bad???"

"Hun, even the snobbiest, most stuckup, most vile and sh**ty person there is would say you are the most precious, beautiful, gorgeous thing on earth!! You look better than your cousin ×100!!!!! No offense to Fluer... But you get what I'm saying!!!!!!!"

"Um, wow, thanks Scar..."

"That's what the all say, now get out of here and go stun Cedric!! Dont worry, you wont need to use the spell!!"

"Ok, but I dont feel comfortable walking past Harry without you guys nearby, so I need you to come with me.. what's family for??"

"Hey," Brady said. "Blood might not be kind, but real family, they will always have your back."

"Yes, and that's why we need to go now, before I say something I might regret and disown you all!!"

Oh, yea, Scar was going with Blue. The thing that made me laugh the most was the way he asked her.

Blue made scarlet fireworks fly into the sky, then blue ones and they danced around a bit before they spelled out:

"Will you be my date to the Yule Ball?"

I cracked up. Blue has always been the smartest out of our little group, it was adorable how he had so much trouble talking to girls. Back to present time:

"Ok, I'm ready."

We walked down through the common room. Fred was waiting with Cedric and Blue at the entrance, I assumed that he had let them in. I felt bad for Brady though, she didnt have a date... She had turned down every guy who asked her, saying that she wanted someone special.

"Brady!!", Fred said. "You look amazing! Are you ready to go win the prize for awesomest couple?"

"Awesomest isnt a word, first of all, and second, I didnt know there was an award for that."

"There wasnt, but there will be as soon as we walk through those doors!"

"Oh, Fred... You're so sweet."

He grabbed her hand and kissed it before giving her a hug.

I was so intrigued by my bestie's newfound love, that I didnt realize Cedric was staring at me.

I looked at him. "What do I have something in my teeth?", i asked before giving him a big grin.

"Um........ hmm? What did you say?"

"Pay attention, boy!", I imitated Mcgonagall.

"Ugh... you just gave me the chills... but you look absolutely stunning!!!! You're the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on!!"

I laughed and blushed at the same time. "Thank you."

"Well, after you?" He said before opening the door. We all walked out into the hallway and proceeded to the ball.

Time skip:
(After ball)

We had a great time at the ball! Everyone looked at us when we walked in which, to be honest, made me a little self concious. Harry glared at me as usual, but Ron wasnt as bad as before. I danced with half the school and my legs were very achy. I told Cedric to go on to the library so he could prepare for the next task a bit more and I would walk myself back.

"Well, well, well, if it isnt the lying little snake."

Great, just what I need.

"Harry, please leave me alone, I want this night to be a night I remember, that I think back on, all the time."

"Dont worry, you'll remember it."

"What the hell, do you me--"

Searing pain wracked my body. Blood was pouring out of me, there were cuts all over me. I fell down into a puddle of water, only it wasnt water, it was blood. I heard Harry say something, then heard footsteps leaving. Everything hurt so bad, I couldnt move without a new cut opening, it was as if my body was made of butter and the slightest movement of it, caused a rip in my flesh. I heard someone yell and run towards me but everything was blurry.

I was lifted up and that's when I blacked out.
