I wanna give her that full body love
from the pinky promises when we hug
to the ring fingers we use to vow
that no matter what we'll maintain somehow
even when its middle fingers and war
the i hate yous will sound like im yours
to the point ill thumb through my favorite book
and i fall in love more with every look
ill hold what is ours inside of my palm
proclaiming my joy like my favorite psalm
like "lord let your unfailing love surround us,
for our hope is in you" psalm 33:22
ill take all the risks to reap our benefits
for my arms are here to contain your fits
even when bows are thrown over and over
when the weight of the worlds on your shoulders
and your throat closes from the anger
and no longer can you hear my words
or see my love i will have your back
ill hold your waist and keep you on track
ill keep your legs moving when you want to quit
and once your feet fail because they are stiff
i will lift you to my chest letting you rest
intertwined in a hug you'll know that full body love
