The orphanage personnel arrived early the following morning looking all grim and bored. It was as if they had done it countless times too many.

'Can you help us? We were told that there was an orphan present'

The nurse cringed as he leaned in. He smiled, exposing his yellowing teeth to her. She was tempted to hand him a complimentary toothbrush and paste but held back. Smiling back at him, she replied.

'Oh okay. It's the last room on your left. That's the doctor's office'

As he walked away, she couldn't help the shudder of disgust that ran up her spine. She turned away wondering how the little guy would manage.

'Please come in.'

'We came for the baby. I hope this will not take long'

'Of course not. Just sign these papers and you can be on your way with him'

The car ride was bumpy and the baby cried every second as if mourning the end of his happiness. The man, Archibald Cranor drove faster hoping to dump that nuisance on Mary Ann the first chance he got. His counterpart, Eleanor however tried to soothe the baby. The baby as if understanding that she was kind latched on to her finger and cooed. Eleanor wiped the tears that had gathered in her eyes and smiled. Eleanor thought of Archer, her husband and sighed still staring at the baby. Eleanor and Archer had tried almost every way to get a child but to no avail. She stared at him and bit her lip admiring his thick black hair and violet eyes that searched her soul.

'Woman', Archibald said 'once we get there I want this fostering boil suited up, fed, washed and ready for bed. No questions asked.'

His tone conveyed the message that his statement wasn't up for discussion and Eleanor although completely against it nodded and turned away from the baby.

'Mr Cranor', she whispered afraid that he would throw a tantrum like the one he threw last night when he heard of the baby ' what's his name?'

She sank into her seat trying to escape the judging eyes of Archibald.

'The child has no name', he said quietly. An unknown emotion passed over his face but it was gone before Eleanor could even register it.

Silence engulfed the car and the baby bid a sleepy good bye to the only happiness he had ever known.

This is just a filler chapter. The rest of the story takes place in Scott point of view.

I hope you like Eleanor she is really fun

'I knew it wasn't a mistake allowing you to rewrite our story'

'I promised you Eleanor'

'Yeah but what about me? You made me a grump old man with yellowing teeth. I will have you know that back in those days that nurse threw herself at me.'

*puffs his chest proudly*

'Well, I'm sorry grandpa but you are grouchy and upsetting with a troubling past. Don't worry though the audience will be drawn to you....the older audience that is.'

*author laughs wickedly knowing what evil pranks awaits the poor Archibald*

'Wait, why are you laughing? What wicked trick do you have up your sleeve this time?'

'You'll have to catch me to find out'

*author runs as fast as her skinny legs can carry her*

Byeeeeeeee...till tomorrow graces us with her presence enjoy todayyyy
