Christmas Heartbreak

Christmas was here! I had to go with Draco to Malfoy Manor, because my parents were still busy, but I really hoped they could see me.

We were on the train back home, "Anything from the trolley?"

I got up and asked, "I'll take two chocolate frogs, a pack of jelly slugs, a sugar quill, a pumpkin pasty, and Bertie Bott's every flavour beans please."

She handed me my stuff and I paid her.

"Woah, chill on the candy!" Crabbe said.

"Look who's calling the kettle black, fat pig!" I shot back.

"And besides, it's not all for me," I said handing Draco a chocolate frog, a jelly slug, and some every flavour beans.

He took it because he knew I wouldn't take it back.

I started on my Sugar quill and Draco pulled it out of my hand, took a bite, and gave it back.

"Hey! You could have got your own! You know these are my favourite!" I glared.

"Hey, what's the fun in getting my own, when I can annoy you, love?"

Crabbe and Goyle started whispering again.

I rolled my eyes. Draco ate a bean and laughed, "Y/n!"

"What? This tastes like your perfume!" he said confused.

"Um, what flavour, uh- Draco that flavour is 'Ammortentia' the love potion! The bean is supposed to taste like something you are attracted to!" I said.

"Oh, um well I was just kidding, is it sad I now taste- like, omg, it tastes like hairspray and parchment!" He said.

I just shook my head and sighed, "So, who could you be attracted to that likes that?!" Goyle said loudly.

I sighed, I knew he was lying because he didn't want me to find out what he liked about me.

I don't think either of us were fully ready for relationships, but we both wanted them.

Draco and I were at Kings Cross, we got off, got our luggage, and went to his parents.

His mother was quick to pull both of us into a hug. I hugged her back.

We had to go to the manor, but when I saw the way we were gonna get there I screamed. A car.

Draco quickly ran to me and told me it was okay and that he would find another way.

Draco quickly explained to them I was still deathly terrified of cars and they apparated us into the manor.

"Thank you so much!" I told Narcissa. She just nodded, and walked away with Lucius.

Draco and I went up to his room. He smiled when he showed me his room.

It was so Draco. Slytherin posters, quidditch stars, including Viktor Krum; a collection of chocolate frog cards, which he added the one I gave to him to.

The card he got from me was, ironically, Salazar Slytherin.

Draco sat down on his bed and motioned for me to sit down next to him.

I nodded and sat. "I love you," he whispered as he leaned towards me.

I leaned in too and this time nothing could stop this kiss. Boom! Just like that our lips touched.

We continued for a moment t then I opened my mouth a little. This kiss was phenomenal! I stopped.

"Wow!" We whispered to each other.

He looked at me and gave me a little smirk. "Like that did you Lovemoon? Well, anything else?"

I giggled and pointed to my neck. He started giving me kisses on my neck. We stopped and I said, "Draco, I love you too," we kissed again.

Draco and I spent that night away from each other, so we could think.

"I think we should hold off a relationship until second year," I whispered quietly over breakfast.

He nodded. This was gonna be great!

After breakfast, we opened Christmas presents. My parents, were not there.

"This one is from y/n!" Draco said happily. He opened to see a ring I got him. A ring with an adorable dragon on it. "I love it!" Draco said.

I opened mine from Draco to see another custom necklace, but this one said 'love' unlike last time.

I smiled and put it on. His parents were discussing something. They quickly looked at me and gave me a look full of sorrow.

"What's wrong?" I quickly asked. Narcissa quickly followed up, "I am truly so sorry y/n," she choked on her words. "but your father, is d- dead."

I started sobbing and Draco comforted me. We ran up to my room where he told me he was always gonna be there for me.

I smiled even though I was broken. I just nodded and I laid down on my bed and he laid down next to me.

We fell asleep, just like that. Me and Draco Malfoy.

I woke up to find Draco next to me. He woke up too and smiled. I giggled and then remembered what happened.

I broke down again. I couldn't handle the pain.

But I had Draco and I knew I'd be okay.
