AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Let me start by greeting you, dear Reader: Hi! :D
This story is based on the popular anime film entitiled "5cm per second" by Makoto Shinkai. It was released in the year 2007. There's also a manga adaptation of the movie illustrated by Seike Yukiko, which is, up until now, on-going still.
With that said and all, this is only a FANFICTION of the original and i do not own any of the characters, wahtsoever. There's a sypnosis and the list of main characters for those who have not yet seen the movie [it's really good, but the scenes and the whole story seemed to be in fast forward mode--but it's really good!]
But do not fret, my dear readers! As this is a fanfiction, I will, of course, stray from the original a little and introduce a new character that was not introduced at the 5cm per second movie, but was at the manga adaptation.
I will then be writing this Fanfic based on the anime film and not on the manga [the manga has bits and pieces that wasn't on the film and could be confusing because i'm sure those who knows this anime, have only known it through the movie. do tell me if you've read the manga though :D]
The story will still evolve around Takaki Tohno after he quit his job, probably got dumped by his gf by then and finally passing by Akari, his childhood love, when he was on his way back at his home town. They recognized each other and looked back, but when they did, two passing train blocked their views. The trains were gone after a short while and so was Akari; Takaki turned around and smiled.
