As I come back from school, I felt the need to check on Paratorya. I am so home sick and I wish princess would answer me. We were fine, but suddenly I felt empty, like she was pulled out of me. I tried calling her again, Luna… Luna! Please answer me. I am sorry if I did anything but just respond… I am getting worried.

Alright, fine if she doesn’t want to talk I’ll let her… but what the hell?

As I approached home, I heard my dog barking and someone screamed…. Is it Ronda? No it couldn’t be. She is still early and not due until February. Yet it the screaming sounded like someone familiar. I ran as fast as I could to the backyard. The scene I saw was the worst I’ve ever seen. Like seriously now my father, King Adams, has to appear with Luna lying in his arms. I don’t understand anything.

“Dad… What the?”

“Oh sweetie…, I’ll explain everything but just come here.” His voice was full of sorrow and this wasn’t one of the cheerful where he comes up and praises our military. This was bad and with the tear stained on his face and his blood-red eyes I knew he needed this hug. I ran and once I was right in front of him, I pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.

“It’s ok dad… Everything will be alright.” Or so I hoped. My voic was clear and full of confidence, but deep inside I broke every time I heard him sob. I hugged him tighter if that was even possible.

King Adam of Paratorya was crying. Well I didn’t expect the day to end at such a weird notice.

After he calmed down, we went inside and sat on the couch. I waited for him to collect himself and explain why Princess was currently sleep-sitting on the armchair.

“Look honey, I tried my best,” he started, “but sometimes life doesn’t give us what we want. I needed princess to leave the castle as she was a distraction. Everyone needs to focus on protecting the land of Paratorya, not Luna.”

“Ok, but I still don’t understand why she is unconscious.” I declared as if the question wasn’t obvious.

“Wait baby girl. I will tell you. So when I told her she needs to leave she went hysteric. She was screaming and crying. We needed a doctor to calm, her down. I called Dr. Ring and he gave her a relaxant. She slept for a whole day. But when she woke up, she was still dissatisfied with my actions. However, she let me explain. I told her how much we needed her to be safe. She agreed to come up, but under one condition: To be asleep the whole time.”

“Well, wow dad um, this surprised me hahhah…” Ok this is crazy, like what the actual hell!!! “Look, I don’t mind but isn’t this weird, like she looks dead. What if there is an emergency and we need to wake her up? And why were you crying? When I saw you like this, I thought we lost the war…”

“No no no, don’t worry about that. We are winning, and that’s why we need to be extra careful as they would want to play dirty.”

“Alright I got this.” I told him. “We will let her, but what if I need to wake her?”

“You only need to say Paratorya 3 times.” He answered confidently.

“ Ok”

“I love you kiddo, so better take care.”

“Of course Dad, don’t worry about me.” I reassured him

He had dinner with us and then left back home. I hope everything is going well. I still smelt something fishy, but I’ll let it go for now…
