With Master, Xehanort defeated the worlds had once again found some form of peace. Able to return to his training the flame-slinging keyblade welder found himself with a new mission. Axel had found himself traveling to a world he knew nothing about. At the request of that world's queen he was to go to, Arendelle. This was the first he heard of the place much less gone there. He had made one simple request upon agreeing to this job. He had wanted to bring a friend. His princess pal was excited to meet a queen that was not out to get her. Out of pure excitement, the princess turned fighter ran straight through the portal.

As Axel stepped out of the portal he found a humorous surprise. His traveling companion had rushed straight through and into a snow pile. Forcing back his laughter he crept over pulling her up by the waist. She glared momentarily before her eyes lit up at the sight around them. The world around them was a winter wonderland straight out of a storybook.

The ground was pure white with no signs of life to be seen. Ice crystals hung from the tree branches jingling with every motion. Looking to a distant mountain a crystal blue palace was visible peeking through the white clouds. The area was eerily quiet save for the crunch of snow under their feet.

Letting out a gleeful giggle she took off running through the snow. She had not seen snow since she was a little girl. The sight of all this was such a charming change compared to her island home. With a puff of snow, she plopped into a large snowbank making a snow angel. She would enjoy her happiness while she had it soon the dark thoughts would return.

On a distant fallen tree, Axel sat watching her. He would let her play before they start the job. He wondered what these royals were like in person. They from how the old man talked rather elegant and refined but paper can lie. He was also curious about this job they had planned for him it sounded like basic security. So far this world seemed heartless free so why would they need security. Cupping his hands together he blew into them letting out a puff of flame. This was by no means was his ideal environment. As his companion fell silent he turned in his seat.

Kairi had somehow rolled over in the snow. Various flurries flew around her as she thrashed. Slowly he crept closer a splatter of snow hitting him in the face. Kneeling he could barely make out her sobbing as she bashed the snow. As he placed a hand on her head she looked up. Rubbing her eyes with her arms she spoke her voice weak and horse.

"Do you think he's alive somewhere?" She whispered

"Ya, I do I can just kinda feel floatin' around somewhere." He replied

Slowly he stood dusting himself off taking a calming breath. When he opened his eyes again he could see something. In the distance, he could barely make out a decent-sized town. The only thing he could make out was the green flag with the golden symbol. With little thought, he pulled out the mission request. With a simple glance, his idea was confirmed they needed to go there.

"Come on princess I found our destination, I think." He muttered

His day had begun with the sound of his door opening. When he opened his eyes he found a pudgy man standing over him. A deep green suit rested over one arm. In one hand he held what appeared to be a keychain for a keyblade. The other hand holding a keychain nervous smile rested on his lips. Jumping in surprise he was jolted awake at the sight before him. Standing from the floor he stared at the man the bed between them.

"Somethin' I can for you pal?" He asked

"Queen Elsa has asked me to deliver these to you for today's festivities." He stated flatly

All he could do was nod as the suit was dropped across his bed. As the butler left he noticed the oddly colored tie, it was bright blue with a crystal snowflake tie clip. With a silent huff, he slipped back into his boots and gloves to complete the look. He felt like a prince in this get-up now he just had to act like one. He was a guest in this world he had to keep that in mind.

As he stood in the hall he didn't notice Kairi step out. She wore a dark green dress that ended just above her ankles. Around her waist was a small bright blue ribbon tied in a bow. She wore flats that matched her dress. She looked puzzled as she strolled over to his arms behind her back. Her hair had been curled along with some light makeup.

"Something tells me you think we're not just here for security too huh?" he asked

"Yeah kinda knew that when I saw the dress." She mumbled

"Too late now we're already here, besides it can't hurt to play for a day." He said with a grin

Axel stood casually watching the party from a shadowed corner unable to relax. Something itched at the back of his mind telling him danger lurked nearby. His gaze moved to the queen of this world and they locked eyes. As they did he looked away quickly trying not to catch her interest. Smiling she skating across the ice-coated dance floor. Reaching him she took his hands her eyes giving him a silent request. With a sigh he allowed her to lead her out onto the ice.

Nervously they moved into an awkward slow dance. Something about being this close to him calmed her racing nerves. As they danced her head slowly came to rest on his chest. Feeling his heart she slowly closed her eyes as her own synchronized with his. Pulses of light sent shivers down her body as she embraced him. Slowly he placed his hand on her back his head on her shoulder a chill sent down his own body.

Nearby on the ice, Kairi spun with Olaf enjoying her break from training. As she twirled she suddenly stopped glancing up a the castle wall. Releasing Olaf she gently slid him across the ice summoning her keybTlade. The moment her keyblade appeared so did a legion of icy wind the creatures were blown back. As the citizens fled inside the castle the ever-growing horde flowed over the wall like a waterfall. A thunderous roar erupted from the other side of the wall. Despite the danger, Elsa could not fight back her grin at the sound. Glancing beside her she noted her security and the charm of his weapon.
