Grey Eyes.....

A/N: I found out yesterday that there is a song with the same name as my story, but just letting you know, I had NO idea and they are not connected at all.

-------------------

I opened my eyes, waking up to my parents yelling at each other; as usual. I groaned and took my pillow out from under my head and pressed it as hard as I could on my head. When I realized it wouldn't block out their arguing I decided to just sit there and listen to them.

"You need to take better care of our children!" I heard a male's voice say. "Well it's your fault; I don't get enough help taking care of two kids that are always doing school activities. Even when I offer my help they don't take it! Why don't YOU just take care of them yourself instead of going out on 'business trips' all the time." "AUGH! Even if I was gone too much, you need to stop letting them go anywhere they want whenever they want!"

My head shot up, making all my messy long brown hair go everywhere.

The meet up at the park!

Why didn't my alarm go off?!?! I ripped the covers off of me and quickly went to my shower. When I got out I put my clothes on, deciding to put on my -new- white ripped jeans, a black crop top with short sleeves along with a light blue tank under, and my signature white beanie. I raced down stairs and grabbed a blue sweater- knowing I left my phone in it yesterday- and a breakfast burrito. I slipped on my Noragami Converse and sneaked outside, careful to not attract any attention from my already angry parents.

Right before I closed the door I got a quick whiff of a specific scent.

Alcohol..... This really is getting too common........

I took my earbuds out as I saw my friends standing near the play equipment. Joanna and Sage noticed me but I stuck my finger up to my lips as if to tell them to shush. I pointed at Margot since her back was towards me; the twins lips both parted and then I saw their oh-so-familiar devilish grins. I bent my legs and put my hands up to the same level as my armpits as I snaked over to Margot until I was directly behind her. I toned out their conversation and stood straight up, put my hands up as high as I could, a grin breaking on my lips.

"BOO!!" I yelled and put my hands on her shoulders. She screeched and whipped her head around making her blonde hair go everywhere. "Why would you do that?!?! You nearly gave me a heart attack!!!!" she complained as Joanna, Sage, and I where all rolling on the floor laughing.

After about 5 minutes, we had finally contained ourselves and stood back up. "Where is Ana? I thought she would be here." I said as I wiped the grass off my clothes. "She is running late." Said Joanna, also wiping the grass off her clothes. "Said her brother is having another panic attack." Added Sage. Margot got a confused look on her face, "Was the crash that bad?" "Well he is the only one in the car that survived. Plus he was the one driving." I reasoned.

"Anyways..... why were you late," said Joanna nodding her head at me, obviously trying to change the subject. "My alarm was being stupid again. Oh, and guess what my parents were doing this morning?" "Do we really need to know about that?" asked Sage as she scrunched her face into a frown, mockingly. Joanna fell on the floor laughing again as Margot stared going on about how much of a pervert Sage was.

"Not THAT; isn't it obvious that her parents were arguing again?" I turned my head to look behind me to see Ana walking towards us. "What was it about this time?" she added when she stopped next to me. "I don't really know; something about my mom not taking good enough care of William & me, and my dad being gone too much. Plus, for some reason there was alcohol this time; it's really getting too common." Ana just held here chin and nodded her head as she always does when she thinks. It was silence after so I decided to just let my eyes wander.

Then I noticed something weird.

Why is that man staring at us- Wait, no- Why is he staring at ME??

"Ah guys?" I whispered and pointed at him. He was a man that was bald and seemed like he was in his late 30's, he had a serious face, and behind his dirty glasses he had completely dark grey eye- wait, dark grey eyes!? That can't be normal.

"Do you know this guy?" asked Sage bluntly. "Because he's creeping me out." added Joanna as usual. "No and that's EXACTLY why I pointed him out, plus the fact that he's been staring at us for who knows how long." I whisper-yelled. Ana took a step toward him. "Can we help you?" The man just ignored her and kept his eyes on me.

Okay- Now I just feel uncomfortable.

"Can we just go to your house now as we planned?" I asked as I tugged on Ana's arm like a little child. "Yeah.... Let's go." She said as she slowly nodded her head still looking at the man.

We got ready to go, and as we left I looked over my shoulder and he was still looking at me. Only now, he was writing notes in a notebook.
