Huff. Huff.
"Yes! There she is!", I said as I gasp for air. Finally.
Standing in the corridor, in front of what I assume is our homeroom, is a very familiar figure. My twin sister. She's holding her bag in front of her with both hands.
Noticing me walking towards her, she gave a cold stare. The shines on her two left earrings clearly adds on a menacing look.
Yikes. Did I get on her bad mood?
"Where were you, dummy?!" she said, crossing her arms. "I've been waiting for so long."
Her expression changed almost instantly. She seems more annoyed than angry though.
"Sorry", I said with a nervous laugh. "I got lost."
"You got -urgh. . ." She touches her forehead and shook her head. "You came in time at least. Madam is about to let us in and introduce ourselves."
Ahh yes. That kinda thing is pretty common so I wasn't surprised. Its a good thing I went to a bathroom and practiced my introduction in the mirror earlier, before getting lost that was.
Haven't heard our queue yet so I guess I could strike a conversation to lighten the mood.
"So. . . are you nervous?" I adjusted my collar.
"Me?" She gave a light laugh. "What do you think, huh. I'm perfectly ready. In fact -", she lifted her finger, "I just came up a brilliant introduction."
That smile. It spells 'scheming' all over it.
"For us . . . right?"
She ignored my question. Throwing away whatever thoughts I have on her plans, I hope for the best.
". . ."
The silence between us is making me feel awkward. She must be either really attentive to the noises inside or simply staring into nothingness.
After what felt like an eternity, we heard the invite and walked through the door.

"Hello everyone, my name is Villin Bright. But you can call me Lin," she said, acting all cute. "I hope we can all get along well." Her face then beamed with a radiant smile.
I'm speechless. She'd go out of character for this. And without a doubt it is effective. She's stealing the spotlight and grabbed everyone's attention (including mine). So applause for that. Though it seems the guys are paying too much attention on my sister, which is bothering me a lot. At this point I don't think anyone realize I'm standing right beside her.
"-oh and this here is my stupid brother. He got lost on the way here", she added. I gave her a glare.
So that's what she was trying to pull off. I don't really mind at all honestly. But hearing some chuckles around the room kinda hurt me a bit. Enjoy your cheap triumph, sis. I remained my composure.
