Chapter 1
I wake up in my jail cell, from a horrible nightmare. That my parents were being killed. Sadly, that one is real. I hear keychains coming down the hall. " Allison Morris. " says the police. " Call me Alice." I say. He unlocks my cell and brings me to the front desk. A man gets all my belongings and hands them to me. As I leave this dark building, I breathe in the fresh air and look around me. It is finally winter.
Chapter 2
When I get home it is quite to quite. Then I hear fighting. My brother, Jason quickly punches Jane,my sister in the jaw. I run in front of him.
"You're home!" He smiles. I look at him .
"What the hell!" I scream " why the hell did you punch her!"
My sister get up she touches my shoulder and smiles. She is fine.
"You haven't been here for 6 months so you don't know a lot" Jane says "I recently joined a acting group and I have this big fighting scene , so Jason was helping me practice"
I feel my face feel red with embarrassment. I say sorry and we all hug. Then we make the usual dinner Mac and cheese. It probably has no flavor for them because they have been living off of it. But to me, it is like a wonderful place that is actually happy.
We quickly gobble it up and race to the couch to watch Rudolph. We snuggle in our Blankets and watch the movie.
How I got in jail
It was late summer when I kid pushed my brother down and started to attack him for no reason. I was scared. I didn't know what to do. So I ran inside grabbed the sharpest knife and ran over to the kid and stabbed him in the back.
Later on that day I had the feeling of being pushed down and feeling guilty. Then the doorbell rang it was two police officers. I fell to the floor and confessed.
They shoved me in the car and drove off to jail. They called my sister and brother later on that evening.
When I was is jail i wondered how Jason and Jane felt. Angry, sad, disappointed, or did they not even care.
Chapter 3
The next day my alarm goes off. It is time for school. I walk into the bathroom, brush my teeth and apply some make-up.
I sit on the couch. Staring at the blank tv. What will they think of me, will I get called down to the office. All these horrible things go through my head. At least I just have this week and then Christmas break comes.
All I want for Christmas is my family to all be together. Also I would like it that everyone doesn't see me as the girl who is bad and went to jail.
* beep,beep* the bus is here. I grab my blue backpack. And head out the doors.
As I walk in the steps the bus driver and everyone looks at me.
I sit in the back alone.
Then I notice one guy. Who leans over and says " Thank you!"
I look at him.
" For what? "
" For making up that kids mind the beat your brother up" he stops " he killed my sister cause she wouldn't go out with him."
" I'm sorry" I say.
Then it gets quite. Real quite.
Chapter 4
At lunch I see a empty table. I put my bag on the table and eat my sandwich. Then the guy that was on my bus sit next to me. I smile. He smiles. " I know it not easy for you"
" What do you mean?" I question.
" I know your parents died and now it just you and your siblings" he continues " my dad and my sister died and my mom is now drug addict, so I pretty much alone."
He stars at my keychain. Then at me and smiles. I realize he is really cute with his brown eyes, black gelled hair, and his white t-shirt and ripped jeans.
I think I have a crush.
" no way" he gasped " that star key chain"
" what about it?" I question
" legend has it can grant a wish."
I look at him. Our eyes find each other.
" We can use to make everything better" I say with joy.
" let's do it" he says.
Chapter 5
We go to the courtyard and both hold a piece of the star. I doubt this will work.
"Ready?" He says.
I nodded.
" I wish, everything will be better, for the both of us" we say.
I feel warmth like the summer. Birds are chirping. I open my eyes and see a gate and colorful trees.
" look!" I say.
" wow!" He says.
As we walk to the gate he say " you know, I never got to know you're name"
" Alice" i say " you?"
" Josh"
As we walk through the gate I see a small town. We run to it. No one is there. Then hundreds of guards Pop out. There swords and bow and arrows are all pointed at us.
" State your name" one of them say
" A-Alice" I am sweating.
Josh puffs his chest.
"Josh, we come in peace" he says so confident. They drop the weapons and say " Welcome!"
Later on that night we find a room to share. I get into my pjs first. I am wearing a black tank top and gray sweatpants.
Josh comes out without a shirt and guess what he has a 8 pack of abs and now he is extremely sexy! He I also wearing sweatpants too.
It was kind they offered some clothes. Since we will be staying for a while or forever. We get in to our beds and turn off the lights and fall asleep.
Chapter 6
I am in my bed at home. I see eyes in my curtains. Then the mouth moves and says " go to sleep!" I panic then they show there self. They pick up the knife I stabbed the boy with and push me down to my bed. Hold up the knife and-
"Aggghhhhhhh" I wake up screaming. It was just a dream.
"W-What's wrong!? " Josh whispers
"Nothing" I whisper back " just a nightmare"
"Come here" he says.
I get up and walk over to his bed. I get in the covers and he puts his arms around me. My face feels warm on his chest. Suddenly everything starts to feel okay.
Chapter 7
When I wake up in the morning I put some makeup on and my hair in a braid. Josh enters the bathroom.
" So since we slept together last night" he sounds nervous " d-do you want to be my girlfriend?"
Inside I have a million happy butterflies but I try to play it cool.
" of course " I say
I walk toward him. He kisses me on the lips going down to my neck.
" That was and interesting first kiss." I say.
" Well did you like it?" He ask
"Yes" I say
And we keep going.
Then we hear a knock on the door. Josh quickly puts a short on.
It is a lady from the town.
" Hello " she says with a smile on her face.
" Hi " I say back.
" Are you ready for your training" she says.
"Training?" I say
" Yes " she says back " it is way to dangerous out there, you're lucky if you didn't come to this town you would've been dead already"
She hands us and outfit. I quests it is our training outfit.
I have blue skinny jeans, black combat boots and a Gary t-shirt.Josh has black pants, sneakers, and a gray t-shirt. We leave our room and follow the lady to this big open field.
A man hands me some throwing knife and a bow and arrow. Josh gets a sword and this powder like thing.
There is a couple other people here to but not many. They call names for a test to see how well you can fight. " Josh Evans. " The man says. Josh enters a circle. Then I slimy goblin like creature comes out.
I swipes Josh with it claws but he doges at the right time. He cuts its arm off with the sword . Then the goblin cuts his shoulder. I can tell Josh is getting annoyed. He jumps and stabs the sword into its eye. The goblin turns into a black smoke.
Next he calls my name. I enter the circle. My mother appears. "What?" I say to myself. She throws a knife at me but misses. " Mom" I yell " Mom it's me its me Alice, it's me." She then forms a fireball and slings it at me. I finally realized it was a trick she is not here. I close me eyes and try to remember the time I stabbed the kid. I figured this will help me aim. I open my eyes and throw the knife right into her heart. She then turns to black smoke too.
