Listening to the howl's coming from the forest behind me, I knew I had to find the main road as soon as possible, because they wouldn't dare to leave the border's and the sanctity of the forest that they lived in. I ran as fast as my legs could possibly carry me, stopping every few minutes to breathe in a little air at a time, then I saw a light of the moon 2 metres ahead and knew that I had made it. I made one final break for it and reached the road at long last gasping in relief, I was finally to free, they couldn't stop me any longer, I was out of their reach.
After taking in a few deep breaths I looked to see if I could find the direction of the nearest town, seeing no signs I finally picked a direction and headed that way slowly, seeing as I still had stitches in my sides from all the running that I did. I walked so far that I started seeing doubles and I couldn't take a step further, I felt like my feet where made of stone and I couldn't lift it up another inch to take another step.
That's when I heard it, the sound of a car, as I turned and saw the light coming towards me I stepped in the middle of the road, just as I tried to lift my arms up the try and ask for a lift, I fainted, I heard the screeching of tires but felt no impact, then everything went black.
