Esmerelda Allura Grimaldi was a lonely person with a father constantly traveling, a mother she never knew and a sister who left not wanting to deal with the younger girl, sure she had a group of friends but Esmerelda isolated herself and became the forgotten one.
Esmerelda spent the day at home like usual, she felt a weird kind of comfort in the empty house. Sometimes she found the silence deafening and would blast music as loud as possible it wasn't like anyone could hear her.
A shrill beeping from her phone stopped her dancing, she ran to the phone, excited to talk to her dad she hadn't spoken to him in two weeks. "Hi dad." She chirped, "hi honey, how're you?" Her father asked, "I'm good you know today I-" before she could continue her father sighed, "that's great honey but I've got to go." Esmerelda felt her mood drop quickly upon hearing those words, "then why even bother calling in the first place?" She snapped, "Esmerelda don't you speak to me in that tone." Her fathers annoyed voice came making the girl roll her eyes, "not like you even care." She spits before hanging up.
She threw her phone across the room as a scream left her throat, she then began to sob, falling to her knees and crying like her life depended on it. You see sometimes Esmerelda had these big burst of uncontrollable emotion and without anyone to help her or calm her she usually didn't handle these emotions best.
After calming herself down she pulled a pair of gloves on and decided to go on a walk, a walk through the forest always calmed her.
She looked down at her gloves in shame, she wished that she didn't need to wear them but she did and nobody even knew why; they thought they did but what they thought wasn't correct. Esmerelda had sold quite a convincing story about being a germaphobe to everyone but that wasn't true although she couldn't ever let anyone find out the truth.
Slamming her door she set off on her journey, a short while later Esmerelda felt on edge like there was someone following her something, little did she know there was someone following her, a certain Gemini sociopath to be exact.
Feeling uneasy she turned around to be met with a boy around her age, he was slightly taller than her and so she looked up at him noticing his beautiful blue eyes and good looks immediately. The second this she noticed was the large rock in his raised hand, "well this is awkward." He smirks before bringing his arm down and knocking her out with the rather large rock.
Esmerelda groaned as her eyes fluttered open, she lifted her aching head to see that she was tied to a chair in the mystic grill. She looks up at her kidnapper and glares at him as he eats.
"See, we never went out to dinner when I was a kid, so, I always had this fascination with chefs and fine dining. Dad actually lets me cook... Taught me to measure by eye. Seasonings to taste, all that stuff, but it's different now in the restaurant world." Her eyes narrow at him as he begins to talk, "Everything's on time. It's like, the fries go in, it dings and you take 'em out. Literally no guess work." Ignoring her dirty looks he continues to speak.
