"and that's a wrap for chemistry!" the director shouted
everyone cheered. i can't believe that i'm actually in a music video— asher angels music video! this is so surreal
"hey annie, some of the crew is going out to celebrate tonight. you wanna come?" asher asked me
i'm not normally shy but this is a big deal. of course i wanted to go! i just couldn't get the words out. so i just nodded.
"great! see ya at menchies, 6 o'clock" he smiled "and by the way... i know you're not shy, so don't be." he patted my shoulder and then left while waving me good bye.
i let out a breath that i didn't know i was holding in and i grabbed my stuff and left. i immediately texted jayden to let her know about the asher situation.

annie: asher just invited me to menchies at 6!!!
jayden: YOU'RE JOKING
annie: nope 100% telling the truth
jayden: O-M-G anns this is huge, asher has like plenty million followers
annie: jay, followers aren't everything.
jayden: i know but just imagine: you and him date. the fans=😱
annie: well drop that fantasy. never gonna happen he has a girlfriend
jayden: hayden had a girlfriend too...
annie: aaaannndd im leaving. bye jay❤️
jayden: you know im right! bye anns😘
later at menchies...
"annie! glad you could make it" asher greeted me opening his arms for a hug. he's 6'2 and im 5'3 so i drowned in his embrace, i liked his hugs.
"of course, i wouldn't miss the celebration" i looked around. "speaking of, where is everyone?"
"so here's my confession. there was no celebration i just wanted to hang out with you but i didn't know how to ask you" a slight blush creeped up his cheeks. i could tell he was nervous
"aw, how sweet. although a simple 'wanna hang' would've been fine" i smiled. i could tell he felt relieved as i saw his shoulders relax.
we talked and ate our fro-yo but we both knew the night wouldn't end there. we roamed around the streets of LA until we ended up at city walk.
"i think city walk is the most beautiful at night. with all the lights brightening the streets it just looks so pretty" i looked over at him just staring at me. "what?" i slightly laughed
"nothing. i can just tell you have a beautiful soul" he smiled "come on, let's go this way" he grabbed my had and led me down the street.
those words; they left me speechless. no one has ever complimented me like that let alone spent 5 minutes with me without trying to get in my pants.
while strolling down city walk we found ourselves in the middle of it. beautiful lights surrounding us and buildings that go so high they make me feel like im only a foot tall.
"great place to take a picture with all these lights" i looked around in awe
"you're absolutely right! be right back" asher ran off to a random person, he pointed over to me and i was confused. then i saw them coming back towards me.
"he's going to take our picture" asher said to me then started to pose. i followed along.
100 pictures later and we were finally pictured out.
"thank you so much! sorry we took up your time" i smiled at the man who took our pictures
"no problem! you two are a cute couple" the words that he spoke, i didn't hate the thought of them but we can't date.
"oh we do-"
"thank you!" asher put his arm around me. he can't be serious right now.
i smacked him on the stomach. "we're not a couple. don't you have a girlfriend?" i ask removing his arm from me. as soon as i removed it i missed the feeling of it being there
"oh, you must be talking about peyton. we dated but that was a long time ago, we decided we're better off as friends and we didn't tell the media because then she would get hate and i don't want that for her" he shrugged. he was really sweet, possibly the sweetest guy i've ever met.
"anyways, let's get you home. it's almost 9"
we had to walk all the way back to menchies because that's where our cars are parked. it was a very long walk.
"tired?" asher asked looking down at me. i mumbled a "no" but my legs were starting to give out. how did i manage the walk down here?
"hop on" he bent down motioning for me to get on his back. i hesitated at first but i got on. i was too tired to walk. after that i felt my eyelids close.
