It was still very early in the morning on this Saturday when Yibo's parents and big brother came to him to help him with his move. They borrowed a van and brought some moving boxes.

All of a sudden, after talking to Zhan, Yibo's father could it not go fast enough. He wanted to complete the move as quickly as possible. Secretly, Yibo was very happy, even though he pretended that it could have waited.

And while Yibo's mother and his big brother had already started packing the moving box, Yibo's father asked his son for a private conversation, a man-to-man talk.

They went into the living room and sat down on the couch. Yibo was nervous because one-on-one conversations with his father were usually unpleasant, like visiting a dentist or urologist.

"Son, I won't argue about this at all. What I said to you on Thursday was wrong and I want to apologize to you. I should never have said those things to you or about your boyfriend. And I'm even more sorry I hit you."

"Thanks, Dad." Yibo didn't know what else to say.

"Dad, thanks to Zhan, I got well soon. He took good care of me. He tended to my wounds. Gave me food, let me sleep in his guest room. He even gave me medicine to help me heal faster. He was and is my angel, you know."

"I know my son. He told me everything and I was glad you didn't have to go through it alone. I'm glad you have a boyfriend like that and not someone like your best friends."

"Dad, these two are good boys, don't say that."

"Yes good OK. I bet when your mom sees your boyfriend later, she'll freak out. I have to admit, even though I'm not into men, but he's really pretty and I can see why my handsome son fell for him."

"Yeah, he's totally cute." Yibo looked around lovingly and smiled.

"And he's so damn smart. Beautiful and smart. You know what that means, right?"

They hugged each other once more and then went back to Yibo's room. He called Zhan briefly and told him they would be there in about two hours and then helped to pack up as well.

Bit by bit the cupboards and finally the room emptied. Because Yibo does not need to bring any furniture to Zhan's apartment, and now his apartment too, he left all the furniture behind. The wardrobe, the bed, his desk and the shelves.

After everything was packed and put into the van, the four of them drank a cup of coffee in the apartment, before they headed to the new apartment.

While Yibo's father drove the van and Yibo's mother accompanied him, Yibo rode in the car with his big brother. They had a fifteen minute drive ahead of them and Hai Kuan used this time to tell his brother something else.

"I hope you will always treat him well now that you have finally found your Zhan and are with him. Even though he is six years older than you, you shouldn't let him take care of everything. Be a man and take care of everything together. Take on the role of a strong husband now. Don't let anything come between you. Or anyone. I know how much you love your Zhan, so always treat him that way."

They talked about the rest of the drive and in general Hai Kuan said nothing else than Yibo's father had already done. But Yibo didn't mind, he was glad that his family supported the relationship between him and Zhan.
