~A Missing Piece~

The performance was nearly in twenty minutes! It was the first time the Koopalings actually shared their levels of singing with each other. Sure, some of them have heard their peers sing in the shower or in Chorus class, such as Wendy. Wendy is a bold lady and is probably one out of her siblings to truly feel confident about her voice. Like mentioned before, everyone has a different octave in their voice, how high their range can go or how low. Ludwig, having probably the deepest voice gets the central attention throughout the song since it was a piece she wrote herself. It's currently 7:44 P.M and the mini show starts at eight. Morton and Lemmy were the last ones out of the changing room and were doing a mic check with the rest of the group. It's good to check all the microphones on the headsets before going onstage, it wouldn't be pleasant to have half of the people have their mics working.

Royette:Okay, so the overall idea of this is to NOT get in Ludwig's way, chomp

Wendette:I believe we're already aware of that, tough guy

Ludette:Yeah, and right after we're done we have to go literally back to balcony where we were almost shredded to bits and pieces

Wendette:Did you really have to bring that up? It still leaves a scar in my soul

Lemmette:How long is the song going to last for?

Ludette:They said around four to five minutes, just to make sure, does everyone know their cue?

Mortette:Does dancing count as a cue?

Iggette:I think he means it by singing

Mortett:Ohh! Yeah! What's my cue again?

Larrette:It's right after Roy's and before mine

Mortette:Yup! I'm definitely going to forget that!

After a bit of chatter about the fight with Fawful that was going to occur right after the show, the Koopalings headed onto the stage without another word being spoken. A familiar piano part was played in the background, a light fading onto Ludwig who took a step forward...

~A pity voice, that will never find it's way out...From this World!~

The meaning of that sentence was to show that anyone who doesn't put the effort of standing up for themselves within their voice won't guide them through the suffering they've been through. There was a long gap of music play before Ludwig continued to sing, the others going into a "Call and Response stage." After Ludwig and the rest of her siblings had their "Conversation," the light faded out and onto Roy who took Ludwig's place. For it being the first time hearing her voice, Roy can sing pretty damn well. The call and response took over again but not for long like last time, Morton singing right after, then Larry, then Iggy, and then the overall group coming together as one.

~Pain and grief are things that can devour your dreams...I Understand!~

The seven of them stayed synchronized until another bar of music played, the light disappearing for a split second before going back onto Iggy, the words differing but the same tune remaining relevant to Ludwig's section, the call and response filling the air. Wendy took a step forward and sang her part, Lemmy following behind before Morton again.

~It's ringing even more~

~Don't let it stop ringing more!~

~Is it okay for time to go?~

After three extended bars of rock took place, the same piano piece played again from the beginning as Ludwig sang the first line again. Everyone followed behind and sung in harmony the same line also, a pause for a breath and break in the music taking place before everyone literally held this one note for four beats. Ludwig, being the show off she is, holds the note much longer than the others and goes slightly overboard, which was extremely impressive! Guess that's one way to get a sore throat and excite an audience. Two minutes after the performance, Ludwig was sitting in the corner with nearly eight empty bottles of water and was drinking her ninth.
