Dystopia AU / Demon x Angel / Team
(Brief Summary: Bakugou and Kirishima get invited to do a live interview on television which is really more like a talk show, and they talk about their agency, their life behind work, and even a secret that neither really bothered to hide or expose.)-------------------------------------------------------------
Bakugou and Kirishima sighed as they relaxed on their couch.
They both had an eventful week, with many petty thieves running around, and then people fighting for reasons they aren't bothered to remember. The more fighting and crimes they stopped, the more paperwork they had to do, and it all piled up for them to finish today. They only had one thing left to do for today, and then they would be done.
"Want me to go get your laptop?" asked Kirishima, standing up then stretching. "We've got about... an hour to respond to the last couple emails we haven't checked," he said.
Bakugou shrugged, rolling his head in circles. He was tired, and his muscles ached. "Yeah," he nodded, yawning as his exhaustion quickly caught up.
Kirishima chuckled, then hurried to their room to grab both of their laptops. He then dropped Bakugou's laptop beside the blond, and then settled down with his own on his lap.
Bakugou yawned again as he opened it and logged in quickly, in a hurry to finish all the work of this week.
"Lucky me," grinned Kirishima. "I've only got two emails, and they are just schedules for next weeks adjustments to our patrols," he smiled.
"Tch. I've got five," growled Bakugou, quickly checking the first one.
The last two sent to him were also the adjustments to the patrols of their agencies. They had to do adjustments because two of their sidekicks took days off work. One of them was sick, while the other had some wedding to attend, or something family related. Therefore, they needed to make sure every shift had someone to cover them. Kirishima and Bakugou already agreed to pay them extra this month for how many more hours they had.
The three other emails weren't related to patrols, but one was sent from Midoriya's agency, asking for their agencies to team up for a rescue mission in the near future, when they get enough information to proceed with it. Bakugou quickly agreed to it, and forwarded the email and his response to Kirishima so he could take a look at it.
He smirked as he heard Kirishima's groan at receiving another email.
The last two were also quite different. One was just about postponing a formal event that was planned a month ago, and the other was... an interview?
He read the entire the email, and with a bitter scowl, he typed out his answer.
"Don't decline it," frowned Kirishima, looking over to his screen.
"Wha- Don't look at my emails!"
"Doesn't it involve our agency?" asked Kirishima, raising an eyebrow. "Anyway, your last interview was just terrible. You could at least make an effort to improve your approval rating. People aren't going to like people who explode at someone's face every time they are said 'hello' to," he frowned.
"I don't-"
"I know you don't, but others don't know that," he smiled. He leaned on Bakugou's shoulder, and grinned. "Come on. Just accept it," he beckoned.
Bakugou clicked his tongue, then deleted the answer he typed out. "I'm only going if you are too. We are going to represent our agency," he said.
