The Girl Next Door

3| Present Day

- Santana Delgado: Its been 3 days since the Delgado sisters have moved to their new home in Miami. They enjoyed the house and they loved the beautiful scenery that is surrounded around outside their house it was better than their old house they use to love at. Besides, it's not the time that Isabella goes back to school, since she's starting her junior year in high school and most importantly for Santana to start looking for a college that can set up a future for herself. She needed a career. She was a straight A+ student and she graduated high school a months  ago. She wanted to find a college that matched her personality and that has good academic resources in a university. At first, she wasn't EXACTLY planning on going to college, but she changed her mind and thought it was worth going to college. She always wanted to be either an engineer. She loved coding. She was a whole nerd in math as well.

- It was a Friday night, Santana started cooking dinner while listening to music on her iPhone 8+. She was a good cook. A whole professional at it as well. After 45 minutes of cooking, she set up the table and called down he sister over to eat. "Isabella, come downstairs to the dining room to eat. Dinner is ready!", she shouted out loud. As she heard loud footsteps of her sister coming down the stairs, she came in the dining room, sat down at the table and started eating her empanadas while having her AirPods in her ears listening to music.

She looks at her sister with a whole sad face. "Hey, what's wrong? What's the with long face, hermana?", Santana said. Isa made a long pause and looked down. "Um, well- I- I just wanted to say that I apologize for bringing up your ex in the first place. It was very insensitive of me to bring up a sensitive topic like that, especially- Santana cuts her off. "Look, hermana (sister) there's nothing to apologize. I mean, it was a whole bitch move what you said, but you did make some valid points. I made tons of mistake back then, especially dating some as toxic and temperamental like him. I've made mistakes, but I've learned from them. I guess bad decisions do make teachable lessons.", Santana said giving her sister a soft smile. Plus, there's nothing to worry about my sweet little hermana he's gone for good. We have this new house and everything, so just reflect on the good things, mi amor. The dark haired beauty said with her Spanish accent. Isabella gave her older sister a soft smile, then went back to listening to her music and continued eating.

Santana Delgado: It was already 11:00 passed midnight. Her sister was already sleeping in her room and Santana was cleaning up the kitchen and washing dishes. Meanwhile she was cleaning, she heard her phone go ding. She dried up the sink with the cloth after finishing washing them dishes she went to get her phone charging from the kitchen wall to see who was texting at her at this time. She was a bit startled because no one usually calls or texts her at this time of night. She went to see who texted her and the message unknown it had no name, but when she clicked on the contact name it said "Hello, Santana. Remember me? It's been a while.", she thought that this was some kind of sick joke. The dark haired girl was shaking. Shaking like her whole body was shaken of fear. She was thinking that maybe it was this one person she was intimate with in that past, but it couldn't be because he's in jail now and it can't be possible for her him to contact her. It couldn't be, she thought. She was thinking that maybe it was the Cal Jacobs her long time ex high school boyfriend. All of a sudden...

              *DING DING DING* 5 MORE MESSAGES

- She then picked up her phone again and was scrolling through the messages and then they were saying "It's been a nice surprise contacting you, sweet face." I can't wait too see you again, baby! Might come to see you one day. The girl was shocked in fear. It felt like she couldn't move. Her whole body felt numb. She felt empty and was shaken with fear. The poor girl was terrified. She dropped her phone on the floor and just stood their like a statute. She couldn't move at ALL.
