Veronica pov:

Summer mornings. The sun beaming through my window. I slide out of bed and into my shower. Singing a old song. But anyway I'm veronica I play the trumpet and you might think I have a huge ego but really I dont I just play for fun. I'm gay. I live on my own. My parent are in new York doing illegal things. But I live next to my lovely neighbor and bestfriend betty cooper. I have had a crush on her since middle school. Were juniors now. But shes so cute. The way she laughs ,her emerald eyes , they was she smile and her ponytail bounces is so perfect. But anyway today were going to pops, skating, bowling and then were gonna end our day off at sweet water river. *ding* she was at the door. I went to open it and there she was in our matching red track suits. In the back mine said betty and hers said veronica. Anyway she walks in and sits on my bed while I get dressed. I was trying to put on my loop earrings and I was having trouble. Betty noticed and got really close to me face. She put in the earring and with that we put on our shoes and leave. So it was pops as usual we ordered fries,a milk shake and a burger each. " so ,ready for today?" She said. "Yea, you know how to skate right"
"Not verywell" she said with a smile. " well I'll help" I say we finish up and go bowling. We played 3 rounds she ended up winning. We went skating and I helped her. While we were skating she held on to my shoulders while i skated backwards and held her waist. I felt like it was just us in skating at that moment. Now were at sweet water river. I was sitting on the side of it still dry. Betty was in the water. The way her body looks when she gets out the water. Her body was so perfect and- "v, come on" betty said snapping me out of my thoughts."I'm ok b." "Come on I know you want to". I give into her sweet smile and get in. As soon as I do she goes under the water. "B you know I hate when you do that " I don see anything but I see bubbles I immediately go under water and see betty its kinda blurry. But it doesn't look like shes moving I go back up to get some air then dive back down. I see that she unconscious I get her from under the water. I preform CPR and mouth to mouth.
