I was waiting outside Nicole's house so we could go to the mall. A minute later she came out not looking to happy

"Hey, are you ok?"

"Yeah let's go"

She said as I followed her before looking at her house thinking I saw someone watching us from the window. Once at the mall, we walked around until we got too hot topic and went crazy shopping

"Hey, Nicole what do you think?"

I asked showing her a shirt that says bite me, she giggled as she showed me some jewelry she wanted to get after some shopping we went to the food court to eat.

"Hey, what happened to you this morning?"

"Oh that, it's just my mom"

"Your mom?"

"She's just being ....a mom"

"I get it but hey , what can you do?"

I said as I ate more of my food

"Tsume mind if I...."

She asked as she stopped, I saw there was something wrong

"If you want to stay with me you can, you know my mom doesn't mind "

I said as she smiled. We gathered our things and headed to my house. I've always wondered what her mom looked like I never got the chance to meet her or her father. I'm only at her house when they're not home The next day, we were at school, who knew being in high school was a hard place to actually try to survive throughout the day. Once lunch came around we all sat together and chat about anything. Mona was telling us about a new case she and Lilly found yesterday

"It's in the abandoned church Angelica and Angela were talking about how it was haunted and they could see people through the windows"

Mona said as I didn't find this a problem

"So who's coming with ?"

Charlie asked us

"This doesn't seem like an emergency Mona I think that you 3 got this covered"

I said as she sighs

"Ok but I think you are missing out on the real Adventure here"

"Trust me, we got are own things to look forward to"

Anderson said as school quickly came to an end the three of us headed to Nicole's house but wasn't allowed to come in

"See you guys tomorrow"

Nicole said ready to go in but I called out to her

"Nicole"

"Yeah?"

"Are you sure you don't want us to come in?"

She sighs and came up to me

"Look I know that you want to meet my parents but I don't think that's such a good idea"

"Why?"

"I want to tell you but I can't, I don't want you hurt, just understand this"

She said as she leans in close to my ear and whispered

"The last thing I want is for you to disappear"

She said making me confused I didn't understand what she meant by that, she told me to not get so fixated on meeting her parents and went inside after saying goodbye

"Please tell me you found that kind of weird?"

I asked Anderson as the two of us were walking to my house
