♡ C H A P T E R - T W O

Walking down to the hall way i felt isolated, nervous and that heaviness on your chest, people walking past the hall way looking at me, i took all my courage to just walk and ignore the feeling of being stared at. After the whole nervousness about the people has vanished and they seem normal, I took my class schedule and got my new locker combinations.

"Looking for lockers, something not new yet frustrating." Foxy muttered while finding her locker, i smiled at her and suddenly her face turned red with fury, i turned around and knew what was the cause of her angry. "Nathan" i muttered under my breath, she starts to walk toward Nathan and it seems like he will be in trouble today.

I turned back and accidentally collided with a guy and as usual due to my clumsiness my books fell. As i retrieve to pick them up the guy insisted to help me pick them up. "Sorry, i guess we weren't really watching where we're goin." the guy said in a deep voice and i looked up to him and smiled, "Yeah, sorry about that." I replied, he was beyond beautiful with his long blond hair swiped upward, clear blue eyes and charming smile. "I'm Elijah by the way, Elijah Lincoln, and you are?" He asked.

"I'm Skylar. Skylar Rosewood, but usually Sky is fine." He looked like he was apart of a Football team cause he was fit but i'm not sure of myself and i think i should stop looking or it will creep him out and embarrass myself for checking him out.

"Well i hate to be a bummer Sky but i have to go catch up on my class, it's really nice meeting you, i hope i bump into you again." and gave me a last smile and left.

Foxy and Nathan stepped beside me, "whose the hottie?." Foxy asked and i think i can read Nathan's expression and it's just disapproval, i smirked at him cause it's also a hint of jealousy, mentioning to the fact that he is an open book, i looked at Foxy and just said "Later, we have to go to class and just focus on finding our classes." i sighed.

I took out my schedule and found out me and Nathan have history together, and Foxy has Physics, we all headed to our perspective classes, Nathan Seems distracted and i've noticed that he looks like he haven't gotten any much sleep either, which made me worried, i took a peak at Nathan till he caught me, ops.

"Okay wait, why are you looking at me like i have done something wrong? I know you are curious why i haven't called you last week but i have a valid excuse." and he had a blank face, "And? What would be your excuse? Cause this" i gestured by my hands at his attire "Is so not you Nathan...... whats going on?" I asked in a low tone.

He placed his hands on his temples and slight creased it, "I was........... i was preparing a date for Foxy, it took me a while cause i had to make it perfect for her sky, i made a reservations at her favorite restaurant and i bought her gifts for her birthday. I just really wanted to do something special for her." I grinned at him then hit him slight in the arms "Well why did it take you a week? That's really sweet Nathan, and what is with the tired face? You looked like you haven't been getting any sleep."

He blinked and ran his hand through his hair, "well first of all it took me a week cause i reserved for the date, then a dinner for her birthday and you have to help me for the dinner, and second is i'm overthinking maybe she wont like it?" He looked at me.

"Are you kidding Nathan?! She will love it!, And i would love to help, but lets set that aside for the moment." And we headed to class.

After classes we had lunch, we all sat at the cafeteria and ate, well i barely touched my food, i wasn't really hungry. Foxy was still a bit mad at Nathan and i tried my best to control the laughter thats about to blast any moment, i felt sorry Nathan did really deserve the rest too and i bet Foxy isn't really helping much.

Suddenly that annoying pain on my shoulder came back, i slight massaged it and curse under my breath cause this time it was 10 times painful, and the dizzy rushed back in, "Sky? Are you okay? Whats wrong?" Foxy asked.
"Yeah it's just that this morning i had this pain on the right side of my upper back, and it just keeps coming back and it gets more painful each time" Foxy stood up and went over and stood right at my back and so did Nathan, "Let me take a look."

Foxy pulled my sweater down a bit and i turned to look at them, "What is it?" I asked.

Foxy studied my back, They book exchange looks and had vague expressions like the know something but they can't click it, "What is it? is there something on my back?" And the pain started to feel like it's beginning to feel like it's burning, "it's nothing, maybe you're just stressed? Just eat sky and get your strength maybe it's because you haven't eaten properly" Foxy stated, "Yeah you're probably right" i said.

"Ahh hey sky me and Nathan are gonna go to the library to search for some books, wanna come?" Foxy asked, for course i would say no cause I didn't want to be a third wheeler and be the cause of why they wont make out. "No i'll stay and eat lunch, you two go ahead." Foxy looked at me "You sure?" I laughed "Yes i'm sure now go on. go to the library." and right now i felt like Foxy is about to kick me in the ass for smirking at her for think they were not really going to the library. "what ever you say." Foxy and Nathan went and i'm left alone.

[ Foxy Kovalski's POV]

"it's starting to happen to her Nathan, The mark is starting to show up, and soon she will eventually see the very obvious change." I said and Nathan nod his head.

"i mean we can't really tell anything to her right now, i know how bad you want to help her Foxy but things will change for her just like how it did for us, but we promised Aunt Claire that we can't tell her anything before the mark has formed, it will be a lot more hard for her to handle this and she might even think we're kidding when she hasn't really seen the changes herself." Nathan was right but i do feel bad that sky has no clue what's going on with her, i looked at Nathan and he had worried written all over his face.

"You're worried that it will destroy her, aren't you?" He asked, "Yes, i am what we had to go through....... its some thing i would never ever wanna go through again." I glanced at my shoulder and took my hands to my mark "We have to keep an eye on her and make sure, she doesn't lose it,okay?." I said, Nathan Nod and stood up from the chair, and slightly smiled, i smiled back and he walked over to my side, bent down and cupped my face "we will get through all of this with sky, i promise." and he kissed me on the lips, then placed a kiss on my forehead and he muttered "I better get going, can't be late for class." And he left.

[Sky's POV]

Classes was over and finally we can go home, i went out of school to try and find Foxy but I couldn't find her anywhere so i went back inside to the school........ again, i sigh and went further to the hall which is now empty i searched every classroom but no luck, i wonder if she's with Nathan?

After a nano second i felt a sudden of shiver go down my spine and my headache hurts like a bitch, my head felt like it was literally spinning, i placed my hand on my head and closed my eyes, as i slowly drifted away from reality and went to complete darkness.................
