Salem gave Graciela a big hug at student pickup on Wednesday.
"I'm gonna miss seeing you every school day," Salem admitted to her.
"I'm gonna miss teasing you in front of your cool skater friends," Graciela winked. "But, hey, it was great while it lasted. You even made a new friend, despite me being here."
"Yeah, I'm still kind of in disbelief myself," Salem said with a smile. "Thanks for your help with it, though. Having my back through it all, and shit."
"Of course, Salem. We're always gonna be on the same team, and I'm always gonna be the leader of that team," Graciela elbowed him playfully.
"I know, I know," he smiled.
"Try not to get into too much trouble during your last month here," Graciela advised him. "Just, not any more than what happened while I was here."
"You can bet nothing else interesting will happen," Salem assured her. "Except graduation, I guess."
"That's no big deal, though," Graciela waved it off. Salem scoffed.
"Yeah," he said sarcastically.
"Well, I mean because me, Oliver, Adam and Alix will all be there!" Graciela exclaimed. "You're on a smooth ride from here on out."
Salem smiled. "Thanks, Gracie."
"No problem."
The two of them walked outside the building to continue waiting for their rides. When the time finally came, the two hugged goodbye one last time.
"'Til next time," Graciela shot him a double smile.
Salem nodded. "'Til next time."
