Introduction:The introductory message to this story is simple: Don't report or flag my story because you dislike something - come talk to me - and we'll settle things like adults. Don't comment rude, hateful, or discouraging things, okay? I'm aware this book as some controversial things written in it. I know what I've written and why I've written it, and I'm hoping you'll give it a chance before judging it for its content.
I wanted to do something different! Something I've barley seen on this website! I wanted to take late history and the modern day and combine it with each other. I'm pretty sure I've written a compelling Watty Award worthy book, and I couldn't be anymore proud. (Especially since I haven't written for years).
Summary:
Year 2020...
Have you ever wondered what it would be life if racism made it passed the 1600s all the way to the 20th century?
Alannah Chase had a rough upbringing in Tallahassee, and high school didn't make her home situation any better - she was bullied everyday - and not for petty reasons like her hair, her weight, or even the way she dressed. It was much more deeper than that. It was because she was African- American.
After high school, Alannah was accepted into an all-boy college in Detroit, Michigan - the only college in America that would take an African American - from there she met her soon-to-be roomies; Will Dawson, Chaz Chasm, and Bevin "Bev" James.
With a room full of boys...
Things are bound to get crazy!
