I am getting excited for my 16th birthday as my girlfriend zoey drives me home. "What do you want for your birthday?" She ask me as the hot Arizona sun beams down on us "I don't know yet." I respond, she is so Beautiful with her long black hair "Ughhh swift you need to figure it out, your birthday is a week away and if you don't tell me something you want then your going get socks and a Bible " but as she is finishing her sentence I get a phone call "Is this Oliver Wade?" A Man ask in a very serious voice. I respond "Ya, but my friends call me Swift" The voice shares upon me some very troubling news "We regret to inform you that you parents have past." He continues but I can't hear him, I can't hear anything. My world is spinning "Is everything ok?" Zoey ask me but I don't respond "Swift tell me what happened" I look at her with tears rushing down my face "My parents died." The look of shock took over her and she pulls the car into a parking lot. I step out of the car and start to ball as Zoey comes over and comforts me. I can't believe this is happing
It is over cast above my head. We are all at their funeral, we at least all my friends. My dad and mom were both only child's. I'm starting to see that I'm going to have to go into foster homes. "How are you holding up?" Hunter ask me, I have been stay at his house and zoeys over the last couple weeks. But I don't know how long I can keep that up. "Babe do you want to come home with me" Zoey ask me in her concerned voice that she has been doing lately. "I think imma stay for a little while, you guys go on ahead." She starts to say something but then frowns decides against it and walks away.
I close my eyes for what seems to be like just a couple of seconds but when I open them it is raining a slightly. I see a man in a black suite staring down at me, he looks like he is 55 "You doing ok there son?" He ask me "I've had better days" I respond looking at their graves. Then he tells me "Why don't we go get something to eat and I can explain what really happened" I get up and follow him. I am trying to ask him what he means but I am speechless, the words won't come out of my month. After about 30 seconds of walking finally got my voice back "What do you mean 'what really happened'" I asked him scared for his response. He responded "Do you know where we can get some tea?" I am trying to keep up with him, I am very out of shape because all my sports are over for right now "Um no but I know a really good sandwich shop and it's right up there" I say pointing at subway, they make some great subs.
I am staring at my steak sandwich with cheese as he starts to talk to me "Oliver" he starts to talk but I correct him "All my friends call me swift" he smiles "Ok, Swift I am going to get to the point, your parents were heroes. They saved millions of life's but it cost them there's. They stopped a terrorist attack on U.S. soil but while they were escaping they were shot and killed." I look up at him in awe. He continues "Now I know this is a lot to take in so I'm going to Finnish up then I'll drive you to your friends house. They worked for the U.S. Government, in a division called Defense. I work for a government division called Attack. We are a spy Agency for children between the ages 10 and 18. I am sorry, where are my manners do you have any questions?" I look up at him suddenly angry at the people who did this. "Who did this" bur he doesn't give me the answer I want "Well son that is classified" so I ask him "How do I un classify it?" He looks me dead in my eyes "Thats why I'm here, I want you to come to attack. Your parents were the best agents there has ever been and I think that could be better. Now of corse you have a life here and I don't want to take that away from you. Like I said its your choice and I want you to think about so don't answer right now so I am going come by your friends house tomorrow and I want you to give me your answer then" I am feeling a lot of emotions right now. I get up and walk out the door still trying to figure out what I just heard. I hear me behind me "What about the ride?" But I keep waking "I know where to go" I respond while still waking.
When I get to Zoeys house her mom gives me a big huge "Thank you misses Smith I tell her then I see Zoey I ask her if we can talk in her room. "What's up?" She ask me once in her room. I wait till we both sit down "Well there's a lot I need to tell you. And don't respond to the end just listen. My parents were not killed in a car crash they were shot escaping terrorist after spoiling there plot to kill millions of Americans on U.S. Soil." I wait to see her reaction. She looks like just found the meaning of life. Mouth wide open when all of a sudden she just started to hug me. "I'm not done, they want me to join one of their divisions to help bring down the people that killed them." I tell her. Her face goes from comforting to sadness "This means that I wouldn't be able to see you again" She says in sad voice. Her pink room is giving me a headache and that is the last thing I need right now so I tell her "Yes it would. I am going to go for a walk and figure things out" She responds "Do you want me to come with you?" I am walking away we she says this "No." I walk out, tearing up.

I wake up surrounded by rocks. I have this special place where I go to when me and parents would get in fights. Just think about them makes me tear up. There is this place and it is a grass area that is surrounded by bushes so nobody ask questions. I know it sounds really bad but it isn't that bad, like I have 4 rocks that I put on the conners of my blanket and I have a pillow so it's not that bad. But I have seemed to roll into the rocks. The best thing about this place is that it is right next to Zoeys house so I can walk there in like 5 min, I get up and start waking to her house.
I walk up to the house to see zoey sitting on the front porch "Where'd you go, I was worried sick about you and why weren't you answering your phone" she ask. I lie "I was at hunters house and my phone was dead" hunter is my best friend and she believes the lie because of this but my phone actually was dead . "Let's go up to my room so we can talk and you can charge it" she states. Once up the stairs I am emerged in 6 seconds of whatever stuff, I don't mind them but she loves them so it's all good "What do you think?" I ask her. "This is what I think. I think that you need peace for what happen with your parents, and the only way to get that is to catch their killer and I want to come with you" She states "No No No No way I am letting you come with me, it is way to dangerous and we don't know how much training and things like that I have to do. There is no way you are leaving your family" I exclaim. "I think it will be super cool if I came" she proclaims "Look Zoey there is no way I can do this when I have to think about you ever second. There is some men coming to see if I want to go with them, and I think I'm going to go with them." I as am finishing saying this I get a phone call. Blocked number. "Hello" I answer. "Have you came to a decision" The man ask me. "Yes, I want to come with you" right as I am saying this the doorbell rings. Miss smith calls me down, I come down to see the man from subway sitting at the table.
