In a Flash

Cameron Closes the door and walked to the other side of the room. I am puzzled of what's going on.

"Where am I?" I questioned.

Cameron chuckles and replies " Your still at my house silly, You passed out last night."

My expression was that I remember but i can't tell him why I passed out.

"ohh Okay I remember now. I was tired and needed a break and I must of fell into a deep sleep" I say while trying to get up. It feels like there is hundreds of pounds pushing on top of me. But I know that it's from my hang over.

"Don't get up too fast, you might get sick." Cameron point out while handing me a bottle of water. I chug it down as if I haven't had water in weeks.

" Thank you for taking me in. I mean letting me stay and all. I really appreciate it." I Thank. He then gives me a warm smile.

"Savannah and Nash are still here. I am making waffles for breakfast. Come down when your ready. Oh and Savannah got you some new close so feel free to take a shower if you want. I don't care."

I nod and Cameron leaves the room.

I leave the room with a big grin on my face. I rush down stairs and see Nash at the bar drinking a Sprite.

" What's up?" Nash asked

"Nothing, Just went up stairs to give Amanda some water and her clothes that Savannah picked up for her."

He nods

"Where is Savannah?" I ask Nash

" She is up, but still in bed. She has been up for a while now." He replied.

"where did ya'll sleep?!" I say confused

" I slept on the couch because she got to the guest bed first."

" Oh" I say . I then begin to mix the batter and Savannah walks into the kitchen.

What a wild night it was. I had so much fun! I couldn't find Amanda until cam told me that she was sleeping ups stair. So I got her some extra clothes out of the car.

I woke up in the middle of the night throwing up so Nash came to help me out. He then stayed with me until I could fall back asleep. He doesn't know how embarrassed I was when he rushed into the bathroom. I was wearing an over sized T-shirt, spandex and some socks with my hair tangled up in a bun and my make up smeared all down my face.

I really like Nash. We have been friends since the first day of middle school. He is so caring and thoughtful. He never leaves me out or makes me feel neglected. But our friendship is so strong that it would just ruin our relationship , if we ever had one.

I walk into the kitchen to see Cam and Nash. Cam is making waffles and Nash is sitting there watching.

"Where Is Amanda?" I ask

" She is up stairs getting ready. She should be down here soon" Nash says and I nod I grab some orange juice from the fridge and poured me a glass.

I get in the shower to wash off my stench.The shower then makes my hang over disappear. I soon get out of the shower to get dressed. I am wearing my favorite shorts with a tank top and a flannel. i dry my hair and put in up into a pony tail.

I walk out of Cameron's room and smell sweet syrup. I go down stair to see all of them in the kitchen.

"Good morning " I greet happily

"Morning" Savannah says

Cameron Makes me a plate and I go sit down to eat. After breakfast I decide what I want to go do for the rest of the day.

" I think I am going to stay here for a little while longer, but cam can take you home" Savannah says.

I nod and we head out to his car.

I look out the window with butterflies in my stomach. I am just waiting for the right moment to talk. Until

"Did you have a good time?" cam simply asks.

"Uh... yeah it was fun. alot of it I don't remember" I hide.

I tell him the directions to the house and we park outside my house. No one is home. Where are my parents? I check my phone and there was a text from my mom that said *Hey went out for brunch to celebrate you! We will be waiting for you at, Mellow Mushroom. See you then!* I sigh and cam asks me what's wrong.

" My parents went out and they want me to meet them at the restaurant they are at. I'm not even ready. and-"

" It's okay you can go inside and change real quick. I will drive you." He gives a warm smile. I am almost tempted to kiss him. But that is not lady like . I just say a small okay and we go into my house. We go straight up to my room and I pick out my clothes. A maroon skater skirt and a black tank top with a cardigan. I then put out my make up and get some black wedges out of the closet.

" Does this look okay?" I question.

"You look... That looks amazing!"

I smile and go into the bathroom to change.

I want to tell Amanda how I really feel. I want her to be in my arms so I could hold her. She always looks amazing. You know what? I'm going to tell her how I feel when she comes out of the bathroom.

I sit on her bed waiting for her to come out. When she does I go straight forward.

"Amanda, I need to tell you something. I have loved you from a distance ever since I first saw you. I had Savannah invite you to the party because I wanted to get to know you. I want you to be my girl friend. But I if you don't have feelings for me, that's fine too"

I walk out of the bathroom and Cameron pours his heart out. I am speechless. With out us noticing, we both walk to each other a plant our lips together. We are lip-locked for what seems like forever, until I finally push away.

" Yes ! I want to be yours." and we go into a hug.

We get back into the car and I text my mom to tell her that i'm on my way.

We get there and give a light kiss on cams check before I say " see you later!" and walk Away.

I walk into the building and see my parents with the rest of my family, including some out of state.

"CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA!!!!!!!!" they yell.

"What's all this?" I ask

My mom hands me an envelope. I open it. I reads

Dear Amanda,

We are proud to present you with this letter because you earned the internship In New York City. We hope to see you soon!

I look up at my parents. Your train leaves in two weeks! I think back to Cameron. What have I done?
