"How are we feeling today ?"

He asks, a giant smile on his face.

"I'm tired."

She sits in a corner of the room, bringing her knees to her chest.

"You've slept for the entire day. And the one before. And the one before that."

He walks a few steps, looking at her with curiosity in his eyes.

"I can't sleep at night."

She buries her face in her knees.

"Tell me why."

He simply rests his back on the wall, the smile on his face not fading away.

"The dark. The nightmares."

"You know what happens when you don't sleep. You're tired and the more tired you get, the more nightmares you make."

"I know."

She gets up, sitting on the first chair in the room.

"You can't escape the loop. Do you eat well ?"

"Yes."

She looks down at the table in front of her.

"Don't lie to me. How much for the past four days ?"

He smirks, crossing his arms on his chest.

"Twice, I guess."

She shrugs.

"I see."

 He smiles again.

"I'm not hungry."

She places her arms on the table, resting her chin on it. Her eyes are half-closed because of the lack of sleep.

"Are you sure about that ?"

He quickly sits in front of her, mimicking her gesture with a wide grin. She doesn't respond.

"Do you still dream about death ?"

His head goes a little bit on the side as he looks at her.

"You know I do."

She sighs.

"Yes, but I want you to say it. Do you still dream about death ?"

He raises his voice a little bit, making it more pressing.

"Yes."

"Perfect."

He claps his hand, like a kid on Christmas day.

"You know, I never knew you would give up so easily."

"I guess I'm tired of fighting."
