Silence again. "You...You're blind?" I nodded, my head tilted to the ground. "Oh." I laughed at their reaction. That's by far the most hilarious I ever got. "Anyway, I'll get going now. See you boys around." One of them started to laugh and I couldn't contain a quiet giggle, before I turned into the direction I needed to go and started walking. I only got to take a few steps, before a voice held me back. "Wait!" It was Sirius that had called after me. I could hear that he was running towards me and turned to face him. "I-I'll accompany you. If you don't mind." I shook my head and before I knew it, he took my hand in his and we walked together. While we were walking, none of us said a word, unless Sirius warned me about small stuff, like a small step or so. And I only ever talked when I told him where I needed to get.
"Why aren't you in your class right now?" I chuckled. "Why aren't you?" He laughed at my question and we continued walking. "I'm excused from potions, since...well...I can't really see what's going on. You?" "Didn't feel like going. Plus, we had a prank planned, and I couldn't miss it." I nodded in understanding. Then there was silence again.
Exactly forty-three steps later, I stopped, and Sirius did too. "You know, you could have just said you wanted to go to the library. I would have known a shortcut." I chuckled and turned to Sirius. "That's nice, but I like it better that way." I slowly moved my hands onto his shoulders, pulling me onto the tip of my toes. Then I wrapped my arms around his neck and quickly hugged him, before I let go again and took a step back. "Well, thanks for bringing me here. Bye." I walked into the library and moved to a place near the entrance, where I always sat. Then I took my books out and started to move my finger over the pages, the book slowly and quietly reading itself to me.
But the whole time, I could only think about Sirius.

The next day, Saturday, the castle felt strangely empty. Most of the students were at Hogsmeade and barely anyone was left. My friends also went, but I decided that I would rather sleep longer and so staid in the castle. When I finally woke up, I got ready and walked down to the Great Hall, to get some breakfast. I had just entered when someone called out my name.
"Hey! Y/N!" It was Sirius and only a few seconds later, I could sense him in front of me. "Hi, Sirius. Why aren't you in Hogsmeade?" His hand brushed against mine and out of instinct, I grabbed his. "W-Well...I volunteered to stay back and explore the castle with James." I nodded and smiled in his general direction. "Anyway, I actually wanted to ask you if you wanted to sit and eat with us?" I grinned and nodded again. "Sure. You just have to help me a bit." His hand tightened around mine and he started to slowly lead me towards what I guessed to be the Gryffindor table. "Whatever Milady needs." I chuckled.
Breakfast with Sirius and James was surprisingly fun. We laughed a lot and I started to feel relaxed around the two. Later, I agreed to explore a bit with them, since I didn't really have anything else to do. A few hours later, all three of us were laughing, while we were running away from Mister Filch. Sirius was carrying me again, since it was to dangerous for me to run around. He sat me down somewhere and I frowned, only hearing one person panting. "Where's James?" Sirius quietly chuckled. "We always split up when we run away from someone." I nodded in understanding and was about to say something, when he placed his hand over my mouth. "Ssshhh. He is near." I could hear Filch run around near us and felt Sirius pressing his body tighter against mine. His breath was fanning across my face and I could feel myself blush. My heart was going a million miles an hour and I knew that I was going to die of embarrassment if he'd notice. But when I reached up with one hand, to place it against his chest, I noticed that his heart was beating just as fast. First, I thought that that was still from all the running, but then I noticed that he wasn't panting anymore.
"Are you okay? Your heart is be-." I was cut off by something soft and warm pressed against my lips. It took me so long to register that those were his lips, that he had already pulled away. "Sorry, I just-." This time, I cut him off. My arms wrapped around his neck and I pulled him down, hoping that he'd react fast enough to ensure that our lips actually touched. And they did.
His hands wrapped around my waist and pulled me flush against him, while butterflies went loose in my belly. As soon as his tongue swept across my lips, I opened my mouth and allowed it inside, quietly moaning into the kiss. But before it could get any more heated, we heard a loud laugh and pulled away at the same time.
"Now I got you, Black!" Mister Filch had found us and dragged us to Professor McGonagall's office. At first she only lectured Sirius, before she started on me. "And you, Miss Y/L/N, I expected more of you." I shrugged and smiled in her direction. "Just because I'm blind doesn't mean that I can't have fun. And we were just kissing." I heard the scoff in her voice, when the Professor answered. "You know that that's not all you two did." I rolled my eyes. "Professor, look, I wasn't thinking about where I was going. Sirius saw me and noticed that I was walking towards the offices. He just stopped me and when Mister Filch came, we got scared and ran. I mean, Sirius actually carried me, since I can't really run without running into a wall. He was just helping me, so if you want to punish someone, punish me, not him." She sighed and took a few steps, before she stopped. "Fine, but...don't do this again, okay? Be careful." I nodded and stood up, searching for Sirius's hand. Together we walked out of the office and down a few hallways, until we were far enough away. Then, Sirius's hand left mine and instead wrapped around my waist, picking me up and twirling me around. "You! Were! Amazing!" He sat me down again and pulled me into a kiss. I laughed against his lips, wrapping my arms around his neck again. "Thank you."
"Where were you tw- Oh, uh, sorry. I'll leave." I chuckled and looked towards James's voice. "You can stay, don't worry." Sirius grabbed my hand again and we all walked to the Gryffindor common room, where we sat down and told James what had happened. "Can we keep her, please?" I laughed at his request, especially when I felt Sirius's arms tighten around my waist. "I wouldn't mind spending more time with you." Sirius's lips gently met my temple and I smiled, feeling my cheeks heat up again. "Perfect!" I chuckled at James's enthusiasm.

That evening I was introduced to Remus, who quickly became my study buddy. I also introduced the four to my group of friends, who were a bit sceptical of Sirius at first, but quickly grew fond of him.
Now it was his last day at Hogwarts, while I had to stay one more year. I sighed at the thought of the boys leaving, but was also excited for them. Sirius and James wanted to start the Auror program, and James had big plans for himself and his girlfriend and Lily.
"Ready?" I smiled and stood up from the stone wall I was resting on. Sirius's hand wrapped around mine and together, we walked out of the castle and got into the carriages that brought us to the train. Of course, we shared one with James and Remus. Peter was in the other one and Lily was with her female friends.
While we were sitting there, I leaned my head against Sirius's shoulder and sighed. "What's wrong, angel?" I rolled my eyes at his nickname, but quickly grew sad again. "I don't want you to leave. None of you." The all awed and I shot them an, what I hoped to be, angry glare. "You can come home every single holiday. And maybe, if you let us know in advance, we can meet in Hogsmeade. Don't worry, it will all be fine and the last year passes in a fly, trust us." I smiled at the thought of home. My home with Sirius. He recently rented an apartment, where we would both stay and where we'd also spend the summer holidays before I had to go back to Hogwarts and he would start his program.
"You're right." I leaned up and he pressed his lips against mine, making me smile, while James made vomiting noises. We all laughed when Sirius and I pulled away from each other, enjoying the rest of the ride, before we arrived at the station.
Sirius helped me into the train and we quickly found an empty compartment, getting comfortable in it. The whole train ride, we were joking and laughing, making fun of each other and just enjoying some time together. And when we arrived, Remus, Peter, James and Lily got out before us. Sirius went down the steps before me and lifted me out of the train. He led me near the barrier and stopped. "Are you ready?" I frowned. "For what?" "Our future." I grinned and nodded. "I am."
