Choking on Air
by: Michael BuckleyI'm suffocating
choking on air
But I can see you
watching me thereYour artificial smile
full of ignorance
As if death
has no significanceIf I had the guts
I'd bring it to an end
And finally stop
This constant downward trendI'd open up my scars
Once more
To knock upon
Deaths darkened doorI'd love to fix it
If I could
Apply the solution
If you wouldBut I wouldn't know
Where to start
Piecing together
My broken heartTry and cut out the rumors
Remove the decay
Make all the pain
Finally go awayGive into my demons
Give into urge
I'm giving in
And approaching the vergeA moment of pain
A moment of bliss
A small crimson trail
Follows your kissBleed out the pain
In one final pass
Rid it of my being
In a coffin of glassSo next time you see me
The fight won't be fair
Cause all I'll be doing
Is choking on air
