Chapter 2

Kate woke up, her eyes squinted at the sight of the rather bright sun. Kate tilted her body around to feel Christian's body next to her, he was'nt there. Kate popped up out from the duvet and sat up on the bed, "Christian!" She shouted, she heard a sound of ratiling coming towards her. 

"Morning sunshine." He said, Kate calmed down at the sight of him walking in the room with a tray with breakfast loaded on it.  

"Why Chris, you had me worrying for a secound there." She said, her green eyes blinking with comtemplation. 

He raised and eyebrow while smirking, "You think I would leave you now?"  

"No! No, I just...that person, I swear I saw him in the window. I thought maybe it was real, maybe he kidnapped you..." Kate said with a serious expression on her face while Christian had a smirk on his. 

"Kidnapped? I'm six foot four, I think it will be pretty hard to kidnapp me babe." He said, his beautiful smile widened as he lightly chucked. 

"Yeah, maybe I saw a shadow of a tree or something." Kate grimaced as she re-played the scene in her mind. She then shook her head and smiled and Christian placed the tray on Kate's lap and she breathed in the heavenly scent. 

Meanwhile Hugh was in his hotel room, as much as he hated donating money to anything Skarsgard he needed to do this for his revenge. In his room he made a road map on his phases, he had ticked a box for the first phase. His first phase if you did not understand at the start was to take pictures of the two engaging in intercourse, this may not seem like a big deal because they were engaged but this was just apart of his phase, he entitled this plot 'Scandal.' That should give you an idea of what he was planning.  

Christian and Kate had planned an outing to a shopping mall, Kate had always been a shopper. She was bringing her friend Ashley Hudson who had lived in California for quite some time and they could only hang out when Kate was in the country, Christian however was going to other parts of the mall with Ashley's husband, Darren Hudson. Christian and Darren had also been close friends such like Kate and Ashley. 

"So is the limo picking Darren and Ashley up first or is the limo coming to us first." Kate asked strapping on a bra and threw a white shirt over her and placed her legs through blue genes. as Christian was in the bathroom placing trousers on and putting on a white T-Shirt on his rather enticing body.  

"I believe so." He said as Kate walked into the bathroom, Christian sitting on the edge of the bath tub, individually placing his socks on.  

"Ah, it will be nice to hang out with Ashley again before we leave for New York in the morning." Kate said smiling as she sat on Christian's lap kissing his cheek fondly. 

"Hmm, how was..." Christian's phone vibrated, he grabbed it and read the message that was sent to him. "Oh, the limo is already here with Darren and Ashley." He said. 

"Why, that was fast. Better head on down." Kate said as she skipped to the purse she had left on the end table, "Lets go." She said. Christian patted his pockets, "Let me just get my wallet." he said walking towards his trousers he had worn yesterday scattered on the floor, he pulled out his brown, leather wallet.  

"Ready?" Kate asked. 

"Yes, let us be off M'lady." Christian said suavely and held her hand out the door, lurking behind them was Hugh. He eyed the two holding hands in disgust, his brown hat shadowing his eyes. He smirked as he renembered his plot but it quickly fadded as he went back to staring at Kate's hand placed on in Christian's. He bit his lips in let's call it 'blood thirst' Kate rotated her head and saw the same man she had saw last night peeping outside the hotel window. Hugh quickly walked away from Kate's gaze so his face could not be recognised, Kate then tilted her head back to the direction she was walking in.  

"What were you staring at?" Asked Christian smiling into Kate's gaze. 

"Uh...nothing, thought I heard something." Kate said in an unbelievable tone, she paused an un-readable expression she then shook her head and gazed into Christian's eyes once more and smiled. They stepped into the elevator and Kate pressed the ground floor button, the doors automactically closed as she did so. Hugh appeared out from where he hid and grinned mysteriously as he walked to the elevator, he took his hat off and his magneficent blue eyes rose from the shadows in which the hat created. Phase two was just beggining.

Kate and Christian were outside, un like last night where rain had practically hammered itself down today was quite sunny. The same black limo from yesterday arrived outside, Ashley opened the door to greet Kate, she ran up to her with her arms open. 

"Kate! How lovely to see you, and Christian always looking good." She chuckled and hugged us both.

"There's my man!" Said Darren creeping out the car after Ashley.

"Darren, hey!" Christian said giving him a boyish hug as he did so.

"You ready to go?" Ashley asked.

"Yes, yes, quite ready.'' Kate said smiling and stroking her hair backwards, the two went into the limo and Christian and Darren followed.

"Do you know what mall we are going too?" Ashley asked.

"Oh, it's called Glendale Galeria, Ashley love." Christian said politely, Ashley melted as Christian spoke, she had always though Christian was a hunk.

"Oh, that sounds nice. Do you and Darren have plans on where you going to?"

"Yeah, we'll just go to the men stores in the mall." Christian said and Ashley nodded, she then opened her eyes wide and curved her mouth into a capital 'O.'

"Kate! That reminds me, me and you are so going bridal shopping while we're there! Oh, by the way have you decided on the date of your wedding." She asked and Kate and Christian looked eachother with their mouths half open. "No, not yet." Kate said and Christian smiled an un readable smile.

"Ah." Ashley said in a dissaproving tone, "Well we can decide while shopping! Trust me the best stores are in Califronia Kate." 

"If you say so..." Kate grimaced and hugged Christian lightly for a secound, Kate did this a lot when she was lost for words.

Twenty minuites later they arrived at Glendale Galleria, the mall itself was heavenly, the suite was the pie, this was the whip cream...Kate would welcome the cherry on top.

The chauffer had opened the door for them, they got out and all nodded at the rugged man holding the door.

'Thank you." Kate had said brushing her hair back, he gave a nod and a smile.

"You're welcome Kate." He had said with a smile, Kate's eyebrows crossed.

"How did you know my..." She was interrupted by the sudden whisper from Christian's ear.

"The stores are closing in a few hours, we can't make small talk now...Thank you, sir." Christian pointed his gaze towards the man.

"Your quite welcome."

"But..."

"Now, babe." He had tooken Kates hand and strode of with Ashley and Darren in to the glass elevator leading up to the stores. Kate had noticed the man pull a phone out his pocket and smile, he gave a sudden glare at her and she felt an un-easy tingle making her veins pulse.
