Shelby’s P.O.V.

                I sat in my seat in front of my make-up table and just stared at my reflection. “Shit, Shelby. What if everyone finds out? I would get so much hate and disrespect. Maybe this is all too fast. Maybe I should cancel. Yea, cancel.” Just as I said that, I got a text on my phone.

 Hey, it’s Zak. Really great job tonight. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

 

 I sighed out of frustration. I finally get to go out to dinner with one of the hottest men I have seen in my life. And now, I’m going to throw it away. I looked down at my phone and replied.

Hey Zak, it’s Shelby. Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the show. I actually can’t make it because I just found out I have practice to learn a new show. I’m so sorry. Maybe we can hang out sometime. I know we are both busy and all. I’m really sorry. Just call me if you need me. Thanks love.

I closed my phone and waited for a reply.

Nothing.

Zak’s P.O.V.

 I smiled as I walked out of Shelby’s dressing room. God she was gorgeous, sexy, sweet, smart, and acts like an independent woman. She’s perfect, oh she was perfect just for me. Then, I decided to text her.

Hey, it’s Zak. Great job tonight. I can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

I sent the text to her and waited patiently for her to reply. Aaron and I were sitting in traffic when I my phone buzzed, telling me I got a message. I smiled when it was form her. As I read it, my smile dropped.

I’ll be honest, I was not happy about her canceling the date, but I did smile when she said, “Thanks Love.” That made my heart flutter. I guess you can say that I’m falling in love too quicly. Your right. I want her to be mine. No one else can have her.
