"Nii-chan! Wake up! Wake up!" Kimiko shake her brother on the shoulder, urging him to wake up."Nii-chan, you promise me that we'll walk together to school!" The girl pout at her older brother's lack of response.
"Nii-chan...." the girl frown at the laying figure.
Suddenly an idea pop in her head, a mischievous smirk grow on her pulp lips.
Standing beside the the open door to avoid his brother's anger later on, she clear her throat.
"NII-CHAN THERE'S COCKROACH INSIDE YOUR ROOM!" Kimiko run quickly down stairs into the kitchen, where her mother place a stack of pancakes on the table.
A loud thud was heard from upstairs followed by pair of running foot steps. The girl's mother raise a brow at her daugther who let out a giggle as she ate her breakfast.
Soon enough a boy with a messy black curly hair came to view. He have a glare in his face as he face his family.
"Mom, there's a cockroach in my room. It need to be burn down-" the boy stop as his eyes landed on Kimiko, who is biting her lip to supress herself from laughing.
"Kiyoomi whe're not burning your room to get rid off the cockroach" their mother deadpan at her son returning to cook again.
Kimiko burst into laughter, slightly banging the table. Sakusa glared at the girl, and cursing at her in his mind.
The girl's laughter died down and she smirk at her brother "Better get dress, before we're late on the first day, Nii-chan"
"I hate you"
"Awe I love you too!"
With that the boy left heading upstairs to his room. Of course not before double checking his room for any signs of cockroaches before getting dress.
After breakfast both Sakusa and Kimiko head out after bidding their mother a good bye. Both sibling walk along the road to their school.
Sakusa have his usual mask on, hands in his volleyball jacket's pockets, as usual he have his scowl on his face.
Beside him his sister also wearing a mask, because her brother force her to, like her brother she also have black curly hair but her's reach to her shoulders and is parted to her right, she also have two moles at her head.
In appearance they are similar, sometimes mistaken as twins. Even in personalities, but unlike her brother Kimiko is not a germaphobe, but she does have a sanitizer or two in her just to please her brother, she doesn't like people much, because she's awkward when interacting with others.
She's quiet, calm and reserve, she also has her cheeky moments, she's also smart, being top in the entrance exam and all. The teachers in Itachiyama was shock when she score a perfect one at the etrance exam, even noticing some mistakes and pin pointing it to the teachers, and so allowed her to skip a grade, making her a second year already along with her brother.
"Are you going to be the manager again this year?" Sakusa ask, his voice muffled because of the mask.
Kimiko look at her older brother before averting her eyes to the road.
"Of course! But kinda nervous about meeting the team"
"You'll be fine, just don't touch any of them"
'I don't know if he's being protective or just plain mean'
Kimiko sweat drop at the thought, but still smile and hug his arm.
"I'll try!"
He just grunt in response as the Sakusa siblings continue their way to Itachiyama Academy.
