Chapter 23: Visit

Taehyung's parents planned to go to another country to move on and cool down. Their flight is tomorrow, they already bought a ticket for Florida.

"The mastermind of the kidnapping for 5 years has been finally caught last week who was Jeon Jungkook. The police and FBI rescued a total of 37 victims in two places. The informant was the criminal's friend and the almost victim, Kim Taehyung. The Jeon's kidnapping case was finally closed."

Taehyung turned off the TV and stood up.

"Taehyung, where are you going?" SimJae asked seeing his son grabbing the coat and umbrella since it was raining.

"Just somewhere dad, I will be back." Taehyung replied and wore the black mask.

"Make sure to come back early, you have to sleep and prepare early for tomorrow's flight." SimJae reminded.

"Alright, dad." Taehyung replied leaving the house.

Taehyung was waiting at the bus stop, he was going to the Seoul Jail. The bus stop in front of him, he got inside sat on the last row, and insert his earphone. He was about to play the 4 o'clock but he was stopped when he heard someone talking.

"That Jungkook and his friends were handsome but a psychopath."

"You're right, but it's still creepy. I hate his obsession, that's so unique yet scary."

"It would be better if he become fuckboy instead."

"Aish, his handsomeness will be worthless."

"However, he's still a criminal."

Taehyung shook his head and play the music.

"Jeon Jungkook, you have a visitor." The warden said.

Jungkook came out of the cell while the warden hand cupped Jungkook's wrist. They went to the private's visitor area. When he got inside, he can't believe who he saw. It was Kim Taehyung. The warden leaves them alone in that place.

"What are you doing here?" Jungkook asked straight to the point.

Taehyung took out the necklace from his pocket and show it to him.

"It's you, right?" Taehyung asked opening the locket.

"What if that's me? What will you do?" Jungkook retorted inquiring.

"I want to say sorry." Taehyung uttered.

"For what? For leaving me back then?" Jungkook mocked.

"I have an explanation" Taehyung retorted looking at Jungkook with teary eyes.

"I waited for you but you didn't come back. I was standing alone on the road, it was raining at that time, and I was hoping you'll show on me as you promised. But I didn't see and feel your presence." Jungkook uttered.

"But you got your first love when I left you." Taehyung replied.

"I got the first girlfriend but you're my first love. Everyone was wrong when they thought she's my first love." Jungkook emphasized.

"But why you didn't tell me? Why do you treat me badly?" Taehyung asked curiously.

"I was hoping you will remember how we first met. I didn't expect you won't remember that special memory between us." Jungkook chuckled bitterly.

"But why did you do that to them? How did you turn out like that? You weren't like this before? How does the sweet and loveable kookie become a monster?" Taehyung asked sobbing.

"It's because of you! If you should have to do your promise I won't have turned out like this! Everyone I love left me! I don't want it to happen again, I want who loves me to stay with me! That's the only solution so they won't leave me!" Jungkook grumbled.

Taehyung was taken aback, because of that, the warden came inside.

"What's happening here?" The warden asked glancing at both of them.

"Nothing, sir, just give us some moments, we need to talk a bit." Taehyung replied smiling faintly.

"Are you sure?" The warden asked.

"Yes sir, don't worry, I will leave later." Taehyung retorted.

"Okay, just call me if he did something to you." The warden.

Taehyung nodded his head, the warden glanced at Jungkook, and left. Taehyung stood up in front of Jungkook and hold his hands.

"I'm sorry for doing that, I'm sorry because I can't help you with your current situation. You still have to pay and learn your lesson. What you did is a crime, change your life and I hope you start again." Taehyung stated genuinely.

"It's okay, I don't need your help." Jungkook replied

"I'm so sorry, Jungkook, I wish you a better life." Taehyung smiled.

He pecked Jungkook's lips and gave a necklace but the locket has Taehyung's picture.

"I'll go now, thank you for showing it to me. Keep this one, I will look for you if the destined fated us together." Taehyung added.

He left the visitor area with a kind of relief heart. He was holding the umbrella, watching those kids playing around, a smile crept on his lips when he remember something.

"Kookie, look I've got something in my hand." The kid Taehyung said with his cute tone while running towards Jungkook who was playing on the ground.

"What is that, baby hyungie?" Kookie asked curiously with his innocent eyes.

Taehyung opened his hands and suddenly, the butterfly flew into the air.

"Wow, A butterfly" Kookie said in an amazed tone.

"Yes, Kookie, I caught, I'm the best!" The kid Taehyung giggled raising both of his hands.

"You're amazing, baby hyungie, that's why I wuv you!" Kookie giggled softly clapping his hand.

"Of course, I'm the best hyungie!" The kid Taehyung jumped in happiness.

"Okay, babies, now come inside and I made cookies for my good boys!" Nara yelled coming out of the house.

"Let's go kookie" The kid Taehyung excitedly said and held Kookie's wrist.

"I'm a good boy!" Kookie yelled.

"Now come here my little good boy, Auntie made a lot just for you." Nara giggles.

"I'm a good boy too!" The kid Taehyung joined.

He dragged kookie along with him and they went inside the house. Nara can't help but smile loving their cuteness.

Suddenly, tears fell on Taehyung's eyes. He wonder how he forgot those precious memories. Now, he regrets forgetting his kookie and he was too late to notice him.
