If Only

Situation

Ming's POV

We remained seated for another 6 hours patiently waiting for the young-mans surgery to finish. This time gave Kit and I an opportunity to acknowledge the situation and what is happening at the moment. I mean if you told me 7 hours ago I would hit someone with my car, who had been kidnapped and beaten, and taken them to the hospital I wouldn't believe you.
After a long silence in our own thoughts, Kit spoke up
"Ming, what should be do after this" Kit asks wondering about the future
"First thing we do is apologise to the young-man and pay for all medical bills" I reply trying to calm him down
"What about the kidnappers, what will we do about them?" Kit asks again worried
"Nothing, we get the police to sort out the situation once the young-man has woken up ok?"
"Ok, What should we do about his family?" He questions
"It's not like we know who they are" I reply
"But I think he knows someone named Mew and he's obviously rich just look at his watch couldn't we try to track down his family or at least this Mew person until he wakes up." Kit asks and I look at him questioning where he got the name Mew from
"Who is Mew?" I ask
"I don't know but when he was in the car he muttered it under his breath. He said "Mew please help me."before passing out again." Kit responds
"I guess we can try to look for his family I mean it's the least we can do." I declare and Kit quickly hugs me and kisses my forehead.

It was at that moment the doctor re-emerged from the emergency room and addressed us.
" The surgery was a success but he is currently in coma due to the blunt-force trauma caused by the hit. Although the chance of waking up is quite high I am unsure of how long it will take until he actually does." The Doctor claims and I am once again overwhelmed with guilt.
"I should have been paying more attention to the roads."
"If you were to give a maximum time in the coma,what would you say" Kit asks
"I would say 1 year is longest time I would think he would he comatose for but it really depends on his condition." The Doctor replies professionally before escorting us to the VIP suite I booked for the young-man.

Mew's POV

It's already been a week since Gulf's disappearance and we have no information about his whereabouts or his condition. I'm now extremely worried about Gulf, if only I trusted him then this very would of happened.
His mother is distraught and his father is furious. There are many different people searching around for Gulf including his family, his friends as well as strangers looking for the money his father offered for any information and of course I'm am looking as well.
The time passed quickly but Gulf has never left my thoughts, I will find him and make everything alright again.
