"For having a demon as a companion"
I was seated at our meeting spot, an old rundown church that was in ruins. I sat at the altar, holding a basket of angels food.
"Mr. Angel!" My heart shivers in joy as I heard a voice that I would love to hear 'til the day I die.
"Natsu" I say, standing up as I opened my arms, the little salmon-haired demon ran into my hug while he smiles.
"I missed you" He mutters cutely under his breath, though I still heard it, I thought I could tease him a bit.
"What did you say?" I chuckle, seeing the tip of his ears turn red, "N-nothing!" He adoringly removes himself from my arms as his black demon wings flutter.
Soon enough we sat down, talking about our day. More like, Natsu talking about his day. As I watch him babble away, watching him and his every move, how the habit of his hands move around, the way his salmon-hair bounces at each move he makes. But my favourite thing to watch about him is his eyes, the way his jade green eyes sparkle with so much emotion.
"I am sure you are aware of these consequences, Angel Zeref"
"Zeref, our relationship is wrong," Natsu says out of the blue, I look at him as he looks back at me with a sad smile.
"We're supposed to be killing each other, you're supposed to kill me," He grabs my hand softly, "But why aren't you doing it?" He continues to speak.
"However, I am immortal— No angel can kill me anyways"
"yes, I am very aware of that"
The room was hot and dim, the cute demon whom I adore is now below me, begging for more. Sweat dripping from ourselves, making us feel sticky, but that didn't bother us at all.
His small soft hands wrap itself around my neck as he leaves delicate scratch marks on my back. I bend over, gently kissing his neck, leaving marks of me on every inch of his body.
"Zeref... Zeref... Zeref," He chants my name in a mantra, my ears and body tingles as he does.
"Natsu... Natsu... Natsu" I whisper lovingly into his ear, my hands remove themselves from his hips as I clasps his hands into mine. Kissing his lips with much passion.
I pull away as I wipe his teary eyes, again chanting his name softly.
"Because of this demon, you are willing to kill yourself? How foolish of you!"
"Back to your words this morning, I don't want to kill you" I say, caressing his silky salmon hair as he lays on my chest, breathing quietly.
"And the reason to that is very obvious—"
"I have sinned"
"It's because—"
My body falls onto the ground, it felt cold and harsh—never in my life would I thought I would die for the second time.
I look up, seeing the face of a certain demon flash before my eyes, his smile, his laugh, his eyes.
"Zeref!" A familiar voice I hear from afar, the demon whom I adore is now right beside me, holding me with so much pain and despair.
Tears fall from his beautiful jade eyes, I'm making him cry again. My hands reach out, caressing his face, leaning his face as his hands gently hold mine.
"Natsu," I mutter under my breath, as he cries more.
"Natsu," I mutter once more.
"Y-yes?" he replies, holding me so tight with his warm arms, but not enough to warm this cold feeling.
"I love you" I felt tears fall from my eyes, Natsu buries his face on my chest.
"I love you so— so much"
