Patton was in his room, he saw more ship art, he talked to Logan and made sure a ship was a vessel for traveling water or something like that. Logan confirmed. Remus overheard and told them about ships. He started from Prinxiety and ended in Remrom (uGh) which the sides were disgusted by, or not. Deceit pops in and joins the conversation. Logan 'feels' the ships are not possible when given enough explanations, we see that Logan is correct. Still, fanders like to make these ships. So they just have to grin and bear it. Also if you want a bonus Patton could be looking at various fanart in the middle of the night.
