Ring. Ring. Ring. "Hello? Hello Sarah? There are six candidate potentials who have just arrived sitting in the waiting area. I suspect that because Marcus is not in that Miss Germanotta will be conducting the tours and taking the questions today, correct?"

"That's correct. I'll pass on the message to Miss Germanotta now and then I will let you know when to send them up to me. Thank you, Alexis." Sarah replied, putting the phone down.

"Hey, Stef. The candidates have arrived and are waiting to be called up to meet you." Sarah said, walking into Stefani's grand office as her eyes landed on Stefani staring out of the large windows.

Sarah was Stefani's right hand woman.

She was also one of Stefani's only friends, having kept a tight circle all her life knowing people didn't really have her best interests and only kept her around because she owned a successful business.

It was great to have someone working for you who you had a good business relationship with, but at the same time, trusted them with your life.

"That's not my job." Stefani said, turning around as she shrugged her shoulders. "I know, but last week you said you would step in if Marcus wasn't able to make it to work."

"That's not something that I would say."

"Well, you said it. Otherwise I wouldn't say that you did." Sarah replied, smirking at Stefani's inability to remember what she said a few days ago.

Stefani bit her lip, thinking as it finally clicked.

"Ugh, I remember saying it now! My mind has been so clouded with this whole expansion malarkey that I seem to have lost my bearings." She replied, sighing as she refilled her glass of water.

"You can tell Alexis to send them up." She said, sipping her water.

"So, if you are lucky enough to work here - this is probably going to be where you will be spending most of your time." Stefani said, making an attempt to actually be friendly with these people.
