Where have you been?

Sun climbed down from the platform and grinned. Looking up at her was a small bear, barely taller than knee height, holding it's paws out towards her. "Okay okay, hang on I'll get out the snacks!" She giggled and reached inside her pouch, pulling out the pack of premium snacks she had bought for her friend. "Here," she said, handing the bear a handful of snacks, "I hope they taste okay!" Sun sat down beside the bear as he munched.
Upon finishing the last bite, the bear yawned and a flash of light shot out of it. "Hey, you levelled up! Nice one, cutie bear!" She said, and the bear looked up at her with a tiny smile. "You still can't speak yet though...I guess in a few more levels!" She told the bear, her smile radiating from her face. Then a voice behind her shouted over, "grats!". She spun round to see the owner of the voice, and just caught a glimpse of elven ears as he teleported away. "Huh...?" She said, confused and staring at the spot where the voice had come from. Cutie bear took her hand, it's head cocked to the side, then it looked up at Sun. She was still looking at the spot in confusion, as she thought to herself, "where have you been? I've was looking for you". Then she shook her head. What was she thinking, saying something like that about someone she didn't even know? She sighed and sat back down beside her bear, who padded forward and stared up at her with large eyes. "I'm okay Cutie, don't worry" she said, patting his head and smiling, that feeling still sitting heavy in her heart.

Laxos looked around at the guild, beaming at his loyal teammates. "Right Wishers, our numbers have grown rapidly over the past few weeks. However, we want to become the top guild in the world, so we can't rest yet!" His voice boomed over the crowd as we looked up at him in amazement. One of the strongest fighters we knew of, Laxos was a force to be reckoned with, but carried a heart of gold...always there to help his friends. "So with that in mind," he continued, "I want you all to start a recruitment mission! There will be rewards in it for those of you who recruit. Let's grow and show the world what Wish is made of!" Everyone cheered and clapped as he stepped down from the podium. Sun looked down at Cutie, and grinned. "Let's go buddy, we should head out!" She said as he nodded in reply. She grabbed his paw and ran out of the guild base to find new friends!

"Ugh...I'm so tired..." her footsteps were heavy as they reached the next town. "Hm hm" cutie replied. "Let's go and grab a seat over there" Sun said, and they stopped in front of the park that leads to the town's shopping precinct. "Nice and quiet here...we can enjoy the peace...," Sun began to say, but then a flash of elf ears appeared again. "Hey! It's you again!" She said, jumping up from her seat. "Hey, sorry for disappearing so suddenly earlier..." he replied, the tips of his long ears turning a light shade of pink. Sun looked at him, a huge beaming smile on her face, and his ears went a shade darker. "Its okay, I'm just happy we could meet again!" Sun said, and the elf agreed. "Here," he said, and he gave her a gift. "Oh! I've given mine for today..." she said, her smile fading. "Wait! I have this instead, hopefully it'll be lucky for you!" She started to dig about in her pouch, and pulled out a letter. "Here, open it" she pushed the letter into his hands. "Thank you! Are you sure I can have this? I know they are rare" the elf replied. "I am certain" she continued to beam a warm smile and he nervously but excitedly opened the letter. "Oh nice! It's a lucky one!" He grinned back at her and they both laughed. He told her about how he hadn't been to the world for a long time, but recently he had felt like taking one last visit to the place. "Well I'm glad you did, otherwise we wouldn't have met" Sun said, a flush of pink creeping over her cheeks. "So," she said before her shyness overtook her, "would you like to join Wish? It's the guild I'm part of!" She asked the elf. "Sure! I would love to!" He replied, and she sent him an application form to join. "Well it was nice meeting you, Mr Elf" a small smile on her face as she looked at him, "I have to go now but I hope we can go on adventures together!" She said and he grinned back at her, "oh definitely, I'm certain of it! See you around!" He said as he jumped and disappeared again.

Sun looked out of the window and sighed. "To think, that was how we met..." she looked out at the trees and the birds swooping through the warm air, the clouds floating lazily through the sky. "This time, I have to ask myself...where have you gone?" She sighed again and started to draw a little bowman on window glass, using the steam from her sighing.
