Sophia POV.
My feet dug into the sand. It was chilly outside, even though it was midsummer. I sat by the bonfire, waiting for the boys. They were down by the lake, swimming around in the dark water.
Me, my friends and my boyfriend, Grayson, was visiting my grandparents cabin for the weekend. The oak threes stretched over us and you could easily hear the crickets buzzing.
After a couple minutes the boys joined me by the bonfire again. Grayson gave me one of his famous smirks. Ethan, Ryan and Kyle headed inside, so it was just me and him left outside.
"Did you have fun today?" He asked me without looking at me. Instead his eyes were glued to the stars. "Yes" I nodded happily.
I felt lucky. Sitting there with the love of my life. Without a single problem in the world.
Just me and him.
I felt his arms around my own tiny body, compared to his. Then I heard his breath. It was slow and stable.
His eyes met mine. He had big, hazel eyes, with a hint of gold. To be honest, if you looked really closely, it felt like they had all the colors of the rainbow.
I could get lost in those eyes for forever. No doubt in that.
"Thank you for bringing us here" he said. I just smiled. "I had so much fun."

We ended up sitting like that. His arm around my body and both of us looking at the stars.
After what maybe felt like an hour, I felt him staring at me.
I slowly turned my head, looking at him.
"What?" I asked confused. Wondering if I had something on my face of something.
He sighed.
"It's just that..." he paused for a moment. "It's just that you're absolutely breath taking." My cheeks turned pink. He spoiled me with way too many compliments.
"Thank you" I said.
"I can't believe you're mine."
